Very easy to use and amazing quality! They notified me that the editing process could take a few weeks, but when I requested to get my photos a little sooner, I had them back within two days. Correspondence was easy and I will be using Scancafe again!

Excellent ease of use of the service as well as communication. Somewhat disappointed in the quality of the scans of my slides. None of the digital photos were sharp.My guess it that the software used to remove dust particles was set way to aggressively.

Old family photos are so important to us that is why you have to be careful as to how you care for them. That was me with my dads' old 33 mm slides from my childhood, the ones that the family would get together to view as he clicked them along with his projector onto the big white screen. Luckily I found ScanCafe to process them onto a cd for me and my siblings. Placing the order was simple, just pack and ship them to ScanCafe. They keep you up to date of how your order is going, then within a short period of time you will be very pleased with the results. Their customer service was equally professional, it was a great positive experience.

They did a good job scanning each photo, in terms of quality. I had spent a lot of time putting the photographs in order, though the photos did not stay in that order when they were scanned.

Service was top notch for the most part. My only “complaint” is that they advertise as if you can delete any pics you don’t want before your final purchase when in fact, you can only delete 20 percent of the total you sent in. Had I known that, I would have been more selective about what I sent to them. I ended up having to buy quite a few blurry pics and pics I ultimately didn’t want as a result.

This is a simple and fantastic service. I did need some help navigating the website to specify special restoration orders but there was always someone available to answer their phone and my endless questions! I am so glad I did this. Completely worth the money to preserve the old family photos!

Scan Cafe did an excellent job scanning more than a decade worth of childhood photos which I presented to my adult children as a gift. Now I don't have to worry about damage or loss, and we are all relieved of the burden of lugging around boxes (and boxes) of photos.
