Had surgery with Mono clinic 23 May 2023, breast uplift, with fat transfer to breast and liposuction- a year on and I am very pleased with the results, Dr Deniz Yildrim is very skilled at what he does, listens to your needs and provides a solution, the aftercare team were very attentive and professional, big thanks to Emir for his kindness, support and general professionalism - a year on I needed a letter of proof that I had surgery from Turkey (I am from the UK), I contacted Mono clinic and they were able to respond to my queries right away, they do not neglect you after the surgery, even a year later they are still attentive to my needs - thanks to Emrah for dealing with my query right away and for your speedy professionalism. Coming from a medical professional myself I am very pleased with the overall outcome and service provided by Mono clinic.

Bad service, and not here to help.

I visited Monoclinic in 2021 to have dental work done, and initially, everything went smoothly. However, just two weeks later, I noticed a crack behind my left front tooth. I was deeply shocked and wanted it repaired immediately. They insisted that I return to their clinic for the fix, which was problematic given that a plane ticket alone cost $900, not to mention the additional expense for accommodation. They refused to cover the costs for the repair to be done in my country. Despite the inconvenience, I traveled back to get it fixed. Astonishingly, two weeks after the repair, the same tooth, in the exact same spot, cracked again. They once again asked me to come down, refusing to pay for my flight or to cover the costs for a local dentist in my country. It is deeply troubling that my teeth are falling apart after having them treated at their clinic, only three years post-procedure, and I'm left without any support from them. I would strongly advise against getting your dental work done at Monoclinic.

Fatima Mono and Büşra Mono

Fatima and Büşra are one of the kindest and most loving person I have ever met. Fatima was my personal companion for 24/7 Support after the surgery. Whereas Büşra was supporting and caring before the surgery. She was planning all the appointments and cared about the before process. Both are really trustworthy and tried their best to please you and your needs. Both are comforting and helpful Women.

Mono Gastric sleeve surgery experience …

Mono health treatment journey was very top notch, staffs were all very professional, they were very helpful from Visa, booking my flight, and sorting transport out from airport and within Izmir city, comfortable accommodation. They made my journey very seamless and stress free. They had answers to all my worries. From Büşra, Emir and My patient service specialist was İpek. Though not sure I met others physically, but İpek was super amazing, she was always smiling, never tired of answering my questions over and over again, even if I was repeating myself. She was very calm and stood by me from start to finish on the day of my surgery, very reassuring. My surgeon was amazing, very professional and did an excellent job. He visited me several times to make sure I was doing ok, Thank you Mono for looking after me and my friend and taking away the fears that I had. I will recommend them anytime.

Unprofessional dentist and in general…

Unprofessional dentist and in general it’s a big scam. after treatment in mono clinic I’m suffering from the depression insomnia anxiety and im nervous 24h/7 my life was totally destroyed same as my wallet because I still paying for what they did to me. They don’t want to give me my money back after their dentist did his very poor job and destroyed my natural teeth’s

Ohne Worte. Zu operativen Eingriffen kann ich nichts sagen. Aber (!) Ich empfehle jedem, nur dann eine Anzahlung zu leisten wenn man sich zu 100% sicher ist das man gesund ist und auch nach Izmir reisen kann. Die Bestimmungen zur Anzahlung sind auf Englisch und wenn man nicht aufpasst, so wie es mir leider passiert ist bekommt man absolut gar nichts wieder. Wobei mir eigentlich 25% zurückgezahlt werden sollte. Das ist bis heute nicht geschehen. Hier geht es nur ums Geld. Ich habe den Türkischen Medizintourismus über diese Machenschaften bereits in Kenntnis gesetzt.

Google search “Mono Clinic Death”

On initial contact, I spoke with (NAME FORCIBLY REMOVED). I asked him to confirm that I would receive individual crowns, which he said I would. This was not the case. I was infact, given bridge work. However I was not told this until after my teeth had been shaved down. By which point, it was too late. I now have bridges, meaning I can no longer floss putting me at risk of poor gum health (confirmed by a UK dentist) and if there are ever issues with my teeth, I’ll need a number of crowns replacing instead of just one.

On arrival at the clinic I was told I would need an additional two crowns at a cost of £100 each to fill gaps. I received the 1 1/2 additional crowns. They’ve basically just tried to fill the gap with anything to get more money from me, and all they have done is create a small gap for food to get awkwardly stuck in. 

When choosing my shade, I asked for BL3 with the option to darken to BL4. I received BL2 meaning I could only darken to BL3, which in my opinion is a bit too white. 

Before the procedure I spoke with the dentist and asked that my teeth were made smaller. I was very clear that in no way did I want them bigger. The dentist said this was ok and continued to grind my teeth down. When my new teeth arrived, they were huge. I said that they had to be made smaller. They came back slightly smaller, but still bigger than my original teeth. I was told that this was as small as they could be due to my bite (I’ll get to my bite shortly). Had I been told they would be bigger, I would not of gone ahead with the procedure.

During a review with the dentist, I explained that my bottom teeth especially, felt particularly uncomfortable. I explained I was concerned about my bite and the size as they felt big in my mouth. My dentist told me this was normal and I will get used to it. Basically, he was not prepared to do anything about it now that they had my money.

Now my teeth have settled, they are without doubt too bright. They are huge. Much bigger than my old ones and the size is affecting the functionality. I can no longer chew food properly, pronouncing certain words is more difficult and they just generally feel uncomfortable in my mouth.

My new teeth are not even smooth. No care has been taken when making them and they are not aesthetically pleasing. The before and after pictures seen on Instagram are not a true representation of what you will receive. They are photoshopped to make your old teeth look worse and new teeth look better and you are pressured to IMMEDIATELY leave a good review.

To summarise, They tell you whatever you want to hear to get you there, right up until doing the procedure. Once they have your money and the procedure is done, they come up with all the excuses and reasons why you couldn’t have what you wanted. Basically they just do what they want or what is easiest/cheapest. I had 4 crowns prior to my treatment. My old crowns looked and felt like my real teeth. These new ones do not.

I have raised all of this with Mono. I haven’t just gone away and wrote a bad review. The after care is poor. (NAME FORCIBLY REMOVED) tells me that because of this review, it is difficult for them to offer me any kind of help. I deleted my review at their request and still received no help, so now I am posting it again. Mono have done everything in their power to get this review taken down and if they succeed, I think it is fair to say that Trustpilot is not a reliable source of honest information on companies such as Mono Clinic.

I would avoid at all cost. If you are genuinely that unhappy with your smile, I would pay the extra for UK. Or at least use a more reputable dentist in Turkey. Mono don’t even take digital impressions. They are done manually. There are so much more advanced clinics to choose from. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

EDIT: (NAME FORCIBLY REMOVED) from the aftercare team continues to message me on WhatsApp, telling me that my review “is making the situation worse” and point blank refuses to discuss any kind of aftercare for me. I have since had two consultations in the UK where I have been told individual crowns should be used, my crowns from Mono are not even zirconium, my bite is way off, my crowns are not sealed properly leaving me vulnerable to plaque build up and I’ll probably suffer with infections and ooor gum health as a result. These people are complete scam artist. My teeth will cost £30,000-£40,00 to rectify in the UK. Thank you Mono Clinic
