Only insurance I could find that covered expats who haven't lived in the UK for a set amount of time

Third time I choose truetraveller for my trips around the world. It's trustworthy, uncomplicated and greatly customizable. Luckily I've had to file a claim only once, but it was processed quickly and effectively by the support team. Recommended

From beginning to end of contacting True Traveller / CEGA I was extremely happy and grateful for the excellent care, attention and overall professional service provided. In times of stress in life due to ill health, I was reassured throughout from emergency help line advice to recouping funds with claim.

Competitive price and previous conditions included, unlike a lot of other insurers I tried. Also covers me for trekking in Peru when lots of other insurers don’t cover above 2000m. Easy to get a quote and understand policy, process and any exclusions etc. Would recommend!

Great cover if your looking to do some more risky activities. I use them for my climbing trips and seems a fairly reasonable price for amount of excess charges and situations they cover in the small print. Yet to have to claim, but feel trusting that I wouldn't have much any hastle if I did.

Every time I had a doubt they were ready to answer it within a day/two days with the time difference. Don't give the 5 starts only because I have never used it so I actually don't know how the payments are

Can't fault true traveller. There when you need them and fairly affordable for the insurance you need. I have used this company 3 times now and I will many more in the future!

Overall positive experience. Used to be easier to submit a claim, everything could be uploaded online, now you need to print, sign and scan a paper which is not super convenient, but otherwise I've been happy with TT. Payment was fast and the whole process smooth.

Great insurance to cover all of the various activities I wanted to do whilst travelling South America.
