The best place for travel insurance with a difference. They were the most reasonable with great cover when I trekked to Everest base camp, thankfully I didn’t need to claim. I’ve just taken out an annual policy with them that covers all my adventures for the year. Really simple website with no jargon so you know exactly what your getting!!!

Catering to long term and short term travellers alike, I especially appreciate how simple it is to extend a policy. The interface makes sense, obviously it is complicated at times but I feel they have struck a reasonable balance between complexity and functionality.

So far I haven't actually had any use for my travel insurance, but I am very happy with my purchase. Most travel insurance companies don't offer cover if you are already out of the country, so it was a relief to find someone who did. Also, there are a ton of add ons, etc., which makes it easy to personalize.

I find True Traveller very easy to deal with and their website, through which I buy their travel insurance, very easy to use. I need travel insurance which covers a wide range of activities so that when I travel I can do many different activities without having to worry about whether I am covered. I have not found any other company which covers the very wide range of activities that are covered by True Traveller. Certainly just about every activity that is available in the European Alps, such as paragliding, skydiving and canyoning, is covered.

I've used True Traveller twice now, both for a policy period of 2 years, mainly because they are one of few that offer a policy for such a length of time. Recently I did contact the in regards to opening up a new policy for a new trip, and they didn't seem to offer anything for returning customers, if there had been a slight gap between policies. Maybe offer some sort of discount would help show that they appreciate retuning customers and want to reward those.
