My first lease car so didn't know what to expect. Quite complicated but very clear instructions and plenty of support and communication. The odd hiccup but all sorted and a good deal arrived at. Just waiting for car now.

I'd been looking for a lease vehicle and ZenAuto came up with good references. I contacted them via email on a specific vehicle and package I was interested in. Within a few minutes I had Riz reply with instructions on creating a login, and then sending through a quotation. From the start to having the document signed was less than an hour or so. Fantastic service so far, and so easy to process the documents. Been really impressed.

So far so good. Straight forward application. I had a query trying to upload documents and I got through to the team quick and the problem resolved. Not had delivery of car yet but hoping just as smooth.
Car due for renewal
I called to ask about another lease car as my lease with Zen Auto was due for renewal. The person on the end of the phone said have you looked at our website. Next time before telling someone that, why don't you listen to what the customer wants as I was about to tell him the car I was interested in. Oh well signed up with someone else now!

*Updated review following contact from CS team* I’ve had a lot of issues trying to get 4 safety recalls dealt with, and have been left without a working car for significant periods of time, but this has been mostly due to Audi Southend's very poor customer service. I initially struggled to get the support I needed from ZenAuto, however once Collette and Emily stepped in everything improved and things got sorted, which has been a massive relief and very much appreciated. Overall, apart from the many issues with the car, the package from ZenAuto (with maintenance) was good.

Reasonably simple process although said driving license was prove of ID on application. Later email asked for passport plus two other options but no mention of driving license. All in all not bad.
Curpa Leon and lease extension
Having had a very nice and lovely Cupra Leon for 2.5 (on 3 year lease) years so far and the request to extend for another year based on my mileage made it actually cheaper a month, nice simple fast service, hopefully take another car once this one is done from ZenAuto👍👍
Efficient, professional service!
Contacted Zen Auto via the breakdown helpline,after a tyre puncture.The response was very efficient and professional, even to the point of customer service transferring me directly to the AA breakdown service.The AA were with me within 20 mins.All in all a very satisfactory outcome, especially as I had three of my very young grandchildren in the car with me!
Expect end of lease charges
Zen auto claim that there is rippling to the paint work of a car I handed back but are unable to provide evidence. They are requesting £163 at the end of the lease despite me getting the all clear from an end of lease check I paid fo from an independent body shop. This has been dragging on for months now. Would not use again and would not recommend anyone i know to use them
Scammed for "damage" charges.
Just returned my 4 year old car and been hit with a huge bill for "damage". It was obvious when the gentleman arrived to collect the car that he was on a mission to find faults and a bill was expected. The car was returned in extremely good condition and low mileage, but any signs of normal wear and tear were deemed to be outside the parameters allowed. Even a small scuff that I had resprayed wasn't good enough. I'm a very cautious driver and I've leased cars for the last 20 years. This was the first time I've been charged for damage. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. There are better companies out there with much fairer views on fair wear and tear. Don't recommend and will never use again.
