Highly recommended, incredible service

I would highly recommend this company, the staff and service they provide are amazing and much better than some other energy companies I have used in the past. They are indepth and practical in their work and I highly recommend anyone wanted to switch energy companies to look into 1st energy.

Distasteful customer service experience

I've had a very poor experience with them. We called them when we got a better rate on our solar from another company asking whether they would be willing to offer a better rate. They offered a "Solar Plan" with lower rates and so we'd agreed to it. One month down the track, when we look at our invoice, we find that the plan hasn't been switched. So we decide to call them again and they say they have no record of us agreeing to the new plan. All of this has resulted in my time and money being wasted talking to 1st Energy and sticking through this plan that was worse than what I've been offered elsewhere. This experience has made it clear to me that it's not worth being loyal to 1st Energy. EDIT: I'm unable to reply to the reply that I've been given below. The email also isn't set up to receive replies from outside its organisation. Customer Number: 224065

Sales consultant calls me after I…

Sales consultant calls me after I requested to switch and was rude. He didnt care if I wanted to switch, just wanted to keep yammering on how they are better but they cant even match the rates being offered to me. If he cant match, just let it go and move on but he even calls me conceited because I said the rates you are offering arent near the rates I was given by the new provider. I dont think he should work in that role at all.
