Really bad experience with aftercare…

Really bad experience with aftercare department which is part of the main company, and this is how they destroy their reputation and good image of proper door installers. With few words, someone from their engineers should come to fix and replace few parts on my door because of previous bad installation. They've send me email beginning of February and told me engineer will attend at 19/02/21 and give me time-slot from 8:00am till 12:00pm, as you can understand nobody didn't attend and not only that, nobody didn't call me to tell me what is going on or where the engineer is atm, after couple phone calls and emails I received back response through email at 12:31pm telling me they are sorry about the delay, and that they will ask the engineer to call me with an ETA, but this never happen. Really difficult to speak with customer support because nobody doesn't answering on the phone.. Bad point for you guys. I am really sorry. You could do better than that.

Excellent communication

Excellent communication. Everything was plain sailing from start to finish. Paid up front after reading reviews on here. Our installers - Grant and Levi were quick, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. They also took the time to talk us through the ins and outs of the garage door. Definitely recommend.

Customer Service with a Silver Lining

2nd edit to reflect received customer service:- I have just been contacted by Ashley from BDRW, who KINDLY informed me that further to reading my messages and the timings involved relating to the problem, they are willing to come out F.O.C on the 22nd to recify my problem and even though the 1yr window has passed, I will be able to purchase an extended warranty for my door giving me piece of mind moving forward. In this day & age it is good to know that some firms are willing to forfeit a little profit for good old fashioned customer service. Edited review: Garage door (Winter = no use) went to open it yesterday and NOTHING! I parked my motorcycle up for winter late October and used the door just once early january to start the bike and warm the engine for 15mins. Tried the same again yesterday and my heart sank! Being technical I was able to work out after a little fault finding that one of the light guard sensors has failed. It has an amber light, instead of green. This (of course) has happened exactly one month outside of warranty, meaning I will now have to pay whatever fee they deem necessary to repair it. I am MORE THAN disappointed by this, because I will of course have no confidence in the product post repair. Initial review below:- From initial contact, to installation and then a minor callback (via their BDRW site) to have some silicone seal put on the inside of the guides I'm impressed. Rosie was very helpful and easy to deal with during the booking phase. I paid a £200 deposit to secure my install date and then Danny and his colleague came out early on the day of installation, which went without a hitch, taking about 3hrs. I contacted their repair and warranty site BDRW because I wanted silicone sealer on the inside (as well as the outside) and didn't want to remove the light curtain myself on a brand new product. again...this went without a hitch, with Danny coming back bright and early on the day stated. I've compared my door to some of my neighbours and can't for the life of me see why theirs cost close to double, or more than the price I paid! I'm very pleased with the final product and am happy to recommend based on my experiences so far...

Aftercare Engineer difficult to make contact

Had great service for the installation of my two doors but I now have a problem with one and I am finding it difficult to contact anyone by telephone to arrange an engineer. As this is an emergency with the door stuck open I find it rather frustrating. I can now confirm that the engineer attended and rectified the problem, and I must thank the Company for their attention to this problem! Although I initially found the inability to speak with someone on the telephone to be frustrating - their online reporting is in fact very efficient.

First class service

First class service. The fitter was a perfect gentleman and very methodical in his work. He removed the old door retaining everything in a bag and moved the door to where I wanted it stored until sold. His manner was faultless and a credit to his employer. Operation was well explained and demonstrated. The door itself is of a very good construction and I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

All round Excellent

Excellent price, excellent communications and excellent installation! All our contact with RDC has been professional, polite and super friendly. Our installation date had to be moved due to Covid reasons and installation engineers not being available but I was phoned to be made aware and given a new date - under the present worldwide circumstances you cannot be fairer than that.
