Amazing tutoring programme!
I'm an aspiring commercial barrister from a low-income none higher education background. Zero gravity has been very helpful in allowing me access to university information and subject masterclasses to help expand my wider knowledge and thus improve my personal statement, allowing me to receive university offers from competitive providers. My mentor helped me immensely through offering me advice and support, without Baye I would have really struggled in preparing from my LNAT and interviews, as with drafting/editing my personal statement. She has also really helped by offering me incite into what to expect in terms of university life and academic discipline needed.
Zero gravity
I’m really excited about studying medicine, and Zero Gravity has helped me a lot. The webinars on the UCAT and university life have been super useful, and it's been great connecting with other people in the same boat, sharing experiences and tips. My mentor has been amazing, giving me loads of advice and an insight at what studying medicine is like. They've helped me prepare and feel a lot more confident about the whole process.
Zero Gravity is the reason I'm going to university
I am a woman of colour from a working-class background, living in inner-city London and I believe that Zero Gravity and the mentor they provided me with Alex is one of the main contributing factors towards me going to university in September. Zero Gravity presented me with forums for me to seek advice from other students and gave me insight on how to access opportunities to better my personal statement with numerous sessions on how to write it as a whole. My mentor throughout these 2 years has been supportive and encouraging giving me academic help, university advice and being a listening ear through tough times. Zero Gravity has helped me greatly in my personal and academic development.
Massively helped me
Massively helped me through the uni process, it helped me do all of my admissions tests and I'm so thankful :)
Best mentorship program !!
This is now my 2nd year with Zero gravity and it has been amazing having my mentor. They have not only provided me with advice on my application but as well as academic advice. Both of my mentors have truly enhanced my confidence and helped me progress. I would love to be an ambassador for zero gravity and a future mentor in supporting students in their university applications.
My mentor has been extremely welcoming…
My mentor has been extremely welcoming and friendly. Considering I’m a shy person she made acted as a genuine friend and gave me lots of advice about personal statements, applications, different universities, courses, and A-levels advice.
Fantastic
Really enjoyed my experience with my mentor. His advice and help was massively instrumental to helping me achieve as much and get as far as I have done. We did mock interviews, numerous personal statement checks and spoke about lots of various topics regarding school and university which really helped me out to make things easier.
Zero Gravity Experience
I have big ambitions of becoming a solicitor by studying law with a year abroad at university so I can learn about how the law differs in other countries. When I made an account for Zero Gravity two years ago, I didn’t think much of it then, but it has been really helpful. Having a mentor who studies law was really beneficial, as I was able to ask for advice on applying to the best universities and about the course as well. She has been really helpful, as she helped me in applying to universities I wasn’t that knowledgeable about but are really good ones, and she has also helped me prepare for my exams, which I feel even more confident in. She really made sure to meet up with me at a consistent time, even though she had exams as well, so I’m really grateful for her.
Zero Gravity— Amazing!
Coming from an immigrant family, university never seemed like a real option, however my close family urged me to push for the highest educational limits. Zero Gravity has really helped me in maximising my prospects: forums and my two mentors assisting in various ways with my applications. Specifically, at the start of my university application, assistance with my personal statement with constant refinements and tweaks making it the best it could be alongside preparation for my university examinations helped me tremendously. Furthermore, my current mentor has helped me with certain revision techniques and general advice that I use each day to maximise preparation for my A-level examinations. Ultimately, Zero Gravity and its resources has been an pivotal facet in my journey to university.
Couldn't have done it without ZG!
Despite being academically gifted and altruistically-inclined, coming from a first-generation immigrant family with no known relatives in STEM, the only sensible conclusion to myself was to pursue medicine. I joined Zero Gravity to get the support I needed for my medicine application. However, thanks to my mentors, Gokul and Andis, I realised my calling as a chemist. Our deep discussions about their subjects really opened my eyes on the reality of being a doctor and how I can still "change the world" as a scientist. Gokul really helped me with my mental health and making informed decisions after getting 5/5 rejections from med school last year. Whereas Andis helped me ace the Imperial Chemistry application and get back up on my feet after underperforming in my A-levels due to having severe medical issues and the sudden illness of close members in my family.
