Well-rounded support! I was very pleased with not only the support from my mentor but also the help I was able to receive from community posts. My mentor was able to help with and relate to problems I faced, which was down to their great pairing process.

I joined Zero Gravity at the beginning of year 13 and it’s been a fantastic experience. When I was matched with my mentor, it was quick and tailored to me. My mentor helped me to polish my personal statement, interview skills and was able to give me personal insight to my future career. It was inspiring to frequently engage with someone living in what I aspire to achieve! The platform also provides an amazing community of likeminded students who can engage with each other and lots of webinars to give students an extra edge in all things academic. When i was assigned my zero gravity mentor, i wasn’t exactly sure straight away what i would be needing help with but knew that when i would need the help, zero gravity would be there to provide it. Zero gravity was introduced to me by one of my teacher’s and the help I received from my mentor was amazing. I received help with my personal statement which i found the hardest part of my university application.

Extremely helpful - everything from the community to the masterclasses to the one to one tutor that you get makes me feel very supported and I definitely know where to go if I need help with anything. The community is especially good as you can find and converse with people facing the same struggles or celebrating the same achievements as you. As for the mentor you get matched with, this is so useful as my mentor encourages and guides me to embark on challenges I wouldn't have done on my own, and it is so valuable to be able to talk to someone who is where I aspire to be in a few years' time. Zero Gravity also regularly checks in with mentees and asks for feedback on how the mentoring sessions are and if any improvements are needed. Overall I can't recommend Zero Gravity highly enough!

With hopes to study a course that seems to be under appreciated and overlooked in the academic world, I looked to Zero Gravity and my truly helpful mentor who helped in confirming my passion for the subject.
