I have nothong but praise for Umbrella.co.uk. Since setting up.a Ltd Company, Nicola really has been the most amazing Accountant. Nothing has been too much. She has answered every email, calls no matter what the query has been. She has also walked me through the process without judgement. I was a complete novice a year ago and now I am feeling confident to navigate my way around the system. Nicola has made the process so much easier. I have worked with them for just about an year and had gone through the worst experience. I had 3 umbrella companies before and they were solid. This one however, lost my pension for over an year and took them long time to admit it. After 100s of calls and emails and threat to go to ombudsman, they managed to find my pension and transferred it back. The finance side are clueless and keep losing stuff. My mental well being had suffered greatly because of their incompetence, and even they admitted they were incompetent on this issue and I hope they will scrutinize their management. Only one good side is that they always answer your call.

I used Umbrella for just under 2 years and the support I received was always first rate, I left at the beginning of the year and the end of the contract was simple and straight forward. 10 months later, I need assistance getting some tax documents and Paul helped me out straight away, he sent everything I needed with no delay, thanks for the assistance, even o long after leaving.

Having worked in Local Authorities and more recently the Third Sector, this was my first experience of an Umbrella Company. Having just signed up with an agency I can say that I had no idea how payments etc would be processed. Robert Carlton has been my support and has guided me through each part of the process with such friendliness and accessibility. The service has been exceptional and helped reassure me and more significantly helped me understand what and how I would be paid.
