They helped me pass my theory by showing me what apps I needed and also since they were able to get fast-tracked theory test dates it meant i could keep the knowledge fresh in my mind when i went for test.

Within 3 weeks they had a test date. I booked a 5hr course (2 day). Once the test date was confirmed, they allotted my instructor, Janette and first day she did assessment and agreed I was ready for test. The next day i took her car for test. Very smooth service. Saved me months of time. If i had gone to dvsa direct i would have been waiting for months yet.

This is in the top 3 worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to have used (the other 2 being British Gas and National Tyres). We paid a HUGE amount of money for an 'intensive course', we paid in full early January and the first lesson was late January. The earliest driving test they could secure for us was 25th March. This has meant about 2-3 hours of lessons a week - not intensive at all. They also refused to pick up or drop off our son and he had to travel about 8 miles on a bus either way costing a small fortune and an hour of travel each way. The instructor was very poor - swore at him (my son pulled out in front of another car and the instructor went silent and then said "you are trying to f---ing kill me") and swore multiple times on many other occasions - and told him that his driving was below average and worse than other drivers he takes out with the same number of lessons done. This made our son feel awful and he lost confidence. At no point did he ever give my son a schedule of lessons and would not discuss dates other than for the next lesson - despite raising this with the company. He also cut short multiple lessons and our son never knew how the lesson was going to be for - until the instructor announced the lesson was over! Some lessons were an hour, some 2 hours, some 90 mins - even a 45 minute lesson which ended when the instructor ran from his car and returned a few minutes later (possibly food poisoning?) - but no explanation ever given!. He then went on a 2 week holiday saying he would be back on the 14th March and could resume lessons the day after. He never even phoned but replied to an text from my son on the 15th saying he would not be back until the 23rd - 2 days before the test. Good job my son texted as we would not have known otherwise!! We contacted the company several times, always polite but never helpful and they WILL NOT call us back - only our son - even though he has had his confidence badly knocked by the whole experience and we asked them to deal with us instead (we had paid for it after all, so not unreasonable. Fobbing off a naïve 19 year old is far easier by the way). Their refund policy is airtight, good luck ever getting a fair amount back from this company - their terms and conditions are such that nothing is their fault. Do not take my word for this - have a look on their website. They can cancel a test and say it's because the learner isn't ready, they can fail to secure a test date but that is covid's fault, they can wriggle out of just about any issue. We have been offered a £25 refund for each lesson and £62 for the test, no compensation for the utter mess that they have left us in and leaving us out of pocket because we paid a lot more than £25 a lesson (£31.94). I would not wish this company on anyone's son/daughter. I appreciate that some of the instructors on their books have given people good experiences, but this company WILL NOT help you at all if there are any issues, they just want your cash. I got a calI from a sales manager who claimed we only had 11 lessons remaining (not 15) and offered another instructor to deliver them - which sounded great until I insisted that we had 15 lessons owed - he then revealed that the new instructor could only deliver 11 lessons anyway! I laughed at this a bit to be honest. When I insisted that we are owed 15 lessons, he told me to stop being immature by laughing, told me to "suck my mum", that we would not get any refund at all and hung up. Absolutely wish we had gone with someone recommended by a happy customer, we would have had to wait due to covid and a shortage in test dates and instructors (this is why we went with this company - they promised they could find test dates and provide instructors) but I would happily have waited. Appalling and stressful experience.

Once I signed up and paid my instructor was allocated I received the date for my theory, support and advice was provided to help me prepare. Once the theory was done, I had a date for my practical test and my instructor was in touch and lessons started. My instructor was professional and brilliant so lessons went really well from the get go. First time pass The team at Intensive Lessons were always very helpful when I contacted them about anything.

Could not recommend enough, I booked my course with a small deposit and give an estimated time of when I wanted to be driving by the guys at intensive then booked my driving test and found me a local instructor and remainder of balance paid it was super easy and stress free process even quickly answered any queries I had at the beginning! My instructor was AMAZING, I passed my test first time and was before I was expecting to be passed given the time scales people are having to wait for their tests (having to book months in advance) Intensive booked my test date within 4 weeks at the centre I wanted to have it. If you’re thinking about booking a course through intensive just do it you will not regret, Thankyou soooo much guys!
