I travelled alone to Turkey for rhinoplasty …

I travelled alone to Turkey for rhinoplasty and the service from start to finish has been first class The hotel I stayed at as part of the package was 5 star and it felt every bit of it. They took such good care of me if i needed anything. Staff so friend and helpful. Food lovely too The Longevita staff that helped coordinate appointments etc were fantastic. On hand to answer everything - seamless process The hospital staff and surgeon were amazing and day 1 with my new nose is a very happy day. No issues at all. Doing this alone I had some worries but i they were soon eased with how slick the service was from arriving at the airport to the day I was getting my cast off.

Septorhinoplasty experience😊

I had septorhinoplasty on 3/04/23. It was really hard to find online where to get my nose job done and to a place that I could trust. However someone I knew had recently got breast surgery so I reached out and asked who she went with and that’s when she told me Longevita, she said it was amazing, really organised and she felt safe, her surgeon was Dr Duman. I did a lot of research and that’s how I decided I wanted to go with this company. I spoke to Longevita for a couple of months before sending a deposit, I’d ask questions. I paid the full remaining amount around 3 days before arriving in Istanbul. To start I had all transfers included, I have absolutely no complaints. Drivers was always on time or sometimes 5-15 minutes early. Me and my partner wanted to explore Istanbul before the surgery therefore we booked our own hotel in the Sultanahmet area. I’d recommend this as Istanbul is beautiful and the food is unreal. You have a hospital appointment before the surgery where they do blood tests, a covid test and a consultation with the anaesthetist. I also got to meet with my surgeon (Dr Duman) I specifically asked for Dr Duman. The consultation went well, he asked me what I’m wanting, he also made suggestions. My surgery was planned for 29th March… on 29th March I was put to sleep, ready to wake up with my new nose. However 1 hour in, I got woken up. Dr Duman said ‘I’m sorry, unfortunately we couldn’t do the surgery’. To make a long story short, Dr Duman put my health and my safety first. He noticed a problem with my heart, my heart was way to fast and also irregular therefore they had to stop the surgery as there was a risk of me having a heart attack. I had to pay £150 to see a cardiologist in Istanbul to see if I was fit for surgery. Originally Dr Duman told me I need to go home and see a cardiologist and if they say I’m okay for surgery then I can come back, however I said no, I want it done here and I’ll pay whatever it costs to see them here. I was told that if I’m fit for surgery then they can go ahead with surgery. I seen the cardiologist and they did lots of examinations and found a few issues with my heart however they think I’ve had this from birth. I was put on Bisoprolol to slow my heart rate which would allow me to have the surgery. To have the surgery again I had to pay an extra £300 for the anaesthetic. Obviously I was absolutely distraught as this ended up costing me a lot more money. I had £150 to see the cardiologist, £69 for blood tests, £300 to be put to sleep, we had to change flights and also extend our hotel stay. I am relieved that Dr Duman but my safety first before the surgery, so I thank him for that. Because of them I now know about issues with my heart that I can show to UK doctors. I ended up having about 2-3 extra transfers to the hospital than what most would have, I had to have the blood tests, a covid test and consultation again with the anaesthetist. Which Longevita did not charge me extra for, shows how great they are as a company. This is something that none of us could have thought would happen and it is nobody’s fault. I am just extremely glad I had the money. Therefore I would suggest for anyone having surgery to have at least £1000 more just incase as this is how much extra it has cost myself. 3rd April I had my surgery, I am extremely happy with my results. I stayed in the hospital 1 night after the surgery and was given a paracetamol drip when I said I was in pain. The nurses were absolutely amazing and really caring. Food provided for both me and my partner. They often changed my ice pack for my face and the gauz under my nose. You’re given all the aftercare needed such as painkillers, antibiotics, saline spray and a cream. The day before we left Istanbul I had the cast taken off. My nose was very swollen, I didn’t recognise myself when I looked in the mirror which was really strange. However I absolutely love my new nose and I know that once the swelling has gone down it’s going to be perfect, Dr Duman has given me exactly what I asked for and I could not be more grateful to him. Also in terms of hotel, after the first time I was put to sleep we went into the hotel provided by Longevita which is £85 a night with breakfast included. The hotel is beautiful, indoor pool, gym, breakfast was good. It felt comfortable as lot of people there had had surgery so no one felt like they stood out. It is far from the centre of Istanbul and for us to get there we had to take 2 or 3 metros. Now that I’m home I’m being asked to send a picture of my nose at different angles to get a free assessment by Dr Duman and they’ll be asking for these pictures every so often for the next 12 months which is amazing. I would recommend Longevita to anyone who is wanting surgery and also Dr Duman. Thank you so so much and thank you for putting my safety first. And thank you to mert my patient coordinator, he was amazing throughout it all.

Neutral review stating facts based on my experiences.

This review will only state the facts, I will not give my opinions, positive or negative, just share my experience neutrally to help others make an informed choice. First time going there, had hotel and transfers included. Airport transfer is luxury, others are not. Traffic and Turkish timing is a bit chaotic. Hotel was good quality, but distance meant getting caught in traffic A LOT. Noone directly asked about me having COVID before coming over, waited until the pre-op assessment. I have been informed it was within something I signed, but I don't personally remember seeing this. At least, it was not obvious to me. I had COVID about a month before surgery but was not poorly with it. I was told I could not have my surgery. Went with partner who was having teeth done so couldn't just come back home. I was also just have a single crown done which at the time was one third of the UK cost, so had those appointments and tried to enjoy it as a holiday. Enjoyed Istanbul, particularly Kadikoy, Asian side. Had to rebook surgery. This time I booked my own hotel and used Uber as was much cheaper. Went alone as partner had to do childcare this time. Had surgery. Was very nervous. Booked extra night in hospital as was on my own. This meant I was last into the theatre. I was doctor's 4th patient of the day. Considering he then does consultations all evening, the surgeon works a lot and gets little rest. Straight away I noticed one breast was very different to the other. One was higher. Was told it would settle and not to worry. Was in a lot of pain so got my partner to fly out to be with me on day 3. I struggled to go to the toilet and do basic things as I recover slower than most from surgery and have an extremely low pain threshold. The surgeon tidied up a pointy bit of skin I had at the end of a scar from previous tummy tuck surgery, for no extra charge. Doctor changed dressings and checked breasts again on last day. I was concerned about one breast being very different to the other but he said it is just swollen and will be ok. Once I was home and let them recover for 6 months, I could still see the strange shape and position of one breast. I also had one nipple noticeably much larger than the other, on my other breast. I paid £600 ( discounted from £1000) plus flights and hotel and went back to Istanbul for revision surgery, wasn't sure exactly what would be done until I was assessed in person. Was told at the consultation the night before surgery there would be another long scar under 1 breast in an attempt to make them more symmetrical and reduce the size of the larger nipple. The nipple was reduced, however there is a lot of fat behind the nipple since, so it now looks fat while the other looks flat. On the breast being fixed, not much changed, apart from a long scar I now have underneath just this one breast. It is still an unnatural shape. For an idea of what my breasts are like, my RHS breast is a FF cup while my LHS breast is a F cup. Possibly too much fat was taken from the left. It looks that way. The LHS breast projects forward with no finger space underneath, but there is a scar under, whereas the RHS breast sits naturally with fingerspace underneath. I have found it difficult to wear a bikini due to this. My LHS nipple looks normal, while the RHS nipple looks chubby. However, the left no longer feels as obviously higher than the right breast. You can not notice these differences in normal clothes, but the difference is very obvious without clothes on. [Edited: I am not able to comment on other people's experiences] I must mention, although my partner's crowns were put in very close together making it hard to maintain dental heigene, they looked very good and he has been extremely happy with them. From previous dental experience, I'm aware it's hard to create much space between crowns. My crown actually popped out yesterday whilst eating a bagel, but I do have short teeth which makes it harder for the crown to stay in. The dentist we thought would be doing the work did not, but another dentist who worked at the practice did the work on both of us. Please research thoroughly your provider AND surgeon, read possitive and negative and neutral reviews. Take not just negative but also positive reviews with a pinch of salt, and bare in mind the reasons you may find many more positive reviews than others. You can never do enough research! At the end of the day, the service provider can only deal with the service element. The surgeon is the one with your life and your body in their hands. Also try not to have high expectations when having surgery abroad.

Dr Yuksel- Breast reduction/lift/implants.

I went to longevita in june 2023 for a breast reduction, lift and implants. I had under the muscle 550cc. Instagram - @jasmina_surgery SURGEON- My surgeon was Dr Fuat Yuksel. I had researched around prior to booking, and found lots of people to ask about their experiences and the majority of the girls were very pleased with their results and recommend Fuat. When researching surgery, there will always be a few negative comments, however I decided to go with my gut and trust my surgeon. I loved the results he had achieved with his breast surgeries. I met Dr Yuksel at his office and he gave me some sizers to try (450 and then 500). At first we decided on 500cc, and then when we went to the office he shown me his portfolio of his results, which were all amazing. I asked him what the biggest size he can do would be, and he told me that the biggest he would try for me is 550cc, and if that didn’t seem right then we would stick to 500cc. I trusted him to do the right thing, and the next day was my surgery. He came to check up on me in the evening after my surgery, and he told me he was able to place 550cc, which I was very pleased about. His manner was professional, caring and he listened to what I wanted. He was also honest, explaining how he would only give implants that would be beneficial to my size and health. He showed me how to clean and dress my wounds, providing me with the solutions and gauze. My experience with the surgeon was incredible and I highly recommend him for those looking into breast surgery. He has a lot of experience, his office is beautiful, and he really does listen and provide exactly what you wish for. Thankyou Dr Yuksel! ASSISTANT- My assistant was Beran. He was friendly and welcoming. He stayed with me during my consultations, medical tests and was available by whatsap whenever I needed him. Even when I was running late to my appointment, he would go beyond and make sure that I could still have the tests done to avoid any delays in surgery. He was a translator during my anaesthesia consultation, and he was comforting during my blood tests as I get anxious. Upon leaving the hospital after my procedure, he made sure I got into my ride to the hotel safely, and also asked the driver to be cautious as I was in pain. Whenever I needed to ask a question, Beran would be there to answer quickly. He took the number of my sister to let her know when my surgery had finished. Beran was a wonderful assistant and made my trip smooth. Thank you Beran SURGERY- I have previously had a rhinoplasty at another clinic in Turkey, so I knew what to expect with the process. It is fast paced, as the tests/consult are usually the day before surgery. The day of my surgery, I arrived at the hospital and was shown to my hospital room. It was very nice and clean, with an en suite bathroom. I changed into my surgery gown, stockings and hair net. The nurses were welcoming and made me feel comfortable, as they could see I was nervous. Although there is a language barrier with the nurses, they would use Google translate to communicate with me. I was given an IV with something I can only assume was for relaxation, as I can’t remember much after that. I was wheeled down to theatre and felt very giggly, not anxious at all. This was the thing I feared most, being put to sleep. All I remember was the nurses saying “go to sleep jasmine” and then I woke up in my hospital room. When I woke up, I was attached to a monitor for a few hours and the nurse would come and check my vitals. They kept ontop of my medications, through my IV and an injection in my thigh. I didn’t manage to eat much, only some bread and biscuits. I am a fussy eater so my sister had brought some crisps and snacks for me incase I got hungry during the night. The staff were professional, kept ontop of my care and came whenever I called for them. PAIN- The first 3 days are the worst. My chest was very tight and achy. My surgeon had explained that the bigger the implant, the more pain. So I expected it, and after it all, I can say it was definitely worth it. I kept ontop of my medication, I was given antibiotics and naproxen (anti-inflammatory). I did also take paracetamol as I was still finding myself in pain even with the naproxen. It was very difficult to sit up, I would position myself in bed sitting up, but after falling asleep I’d slip down the bed and that’s when I’d have the most trouble. By day 3-4, I found most of the pain to have subsided. It was more tightness which was bearable. I wasn’t taking paracetamol as often. Overall, I would recommend longevita and Dr Yuksel. My experience has been amazing, even on returning home, they still email and ask for my photos to keep up to date with my case and make sure there are no complications. Luckily, my recovery has been very smooth and I’ve had no issues. My instagram is at the top of the review, feel free to message for any info

Great Support, Communication & Stress Free

2 Days PO and I am absolutely delighted to share my exceptional experience with Longevita. From start to finish, everything went incredibly smoothly. One of the standout aspects of my journey was the remarkable patient coordinator, Gizem. Her dedication was evident in every interaction, and she played a pivotal role in making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Although there was a language barrier with the nurses at the hospital, their limited English didn't hinder the exceptional care they provided. Their patience and willingness to assist at all times were truly commendable. In conclusion, my experience with this company's breast augmentation services was nothing short of exceptional. From the stellar patient coordinator Gizem, to the skillful hands of Dr. Jacob, and the caring nurses at the hospital, every aspect of my journey was characterized by professionalism & support. I wholeheartedly recommend this company, they also organise hotels and airports transfers which is very helpful in a country you aren’t familiar with.

My experience with Longevita was very…

My experience with Longevita was very good. Gizem my translator was extremely kind and helpful. She made my experience with Longevita more easy and made me less nervous. Longevita sorted out my hotel and transport to the airport. I found this extremely helpful.
