i would buy again and again
i would buy again and again. I purchased a pink saree. it was beautiful. the choice is good. delivery was on time. no problems with finish on saree. blouse stitched to high standard. stitch team are excellent with communication. i am waiting for another saree due soon and scheduled to be on time. only dissapointed that there is no phone number for customer services and emails take up to 5 working days for response.
Omsara lost returns > refuses to refund
Omsara lost my return after signing for it and refuse to refund because they can’t find the goods [just incredible….] They stopped replying straight after a copy of their own signature was sent as evidence for them so hopefully this review will receive a reply. The value of this return is roughly the same as the profit they made last year – based on their accounts that are publicly available on Datalog – so I can see why they are not keen to refund. Initially they tried to get out of refunding by saying they can’t find the product (= even when they signed for them), because Parcelforce was used and not their own courier (!!!), because they were not advised ahead of return (not required under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014)... Company has been adviced they should allow up to 28 days to return goods as per Consumer Contracts Regulations from 2014 but their website still says only 14 days is allowed. Will post an update here depending on the outcome.
If you have a uk tel. No. on website at least should be able answer questions. Not a delivery person.
Completely unorganised. Looks like one man band uk agent. Ordered 3 sari'sin oct 2017, paid express delivery. Never received them, delivery date got changed only to find out 1st item out of stock, 2nd item was received defective. Asked for the the whole order to be cancelled, only to get email saying 1 item sent unable to cancel order. When you been told delivery will be on 19/11/16. The goods suddenly seems to appear n sent out. Totally confused.com company. Was a complete waste of my time ordering from this company when I could have ordered it directly from India from another company.
Great Service
I have never ordered any suits/sarees etc. online before so I was a bit uncertain. However the outfits I ordered came when promised and even a bit earlier. The quality of the outfits was excellent, and I will definitely be returning to Omsara in the future. The website is very professional, and being able to speak to someone on the phone when I had a query also helped. Thank you to Omsara for an easy and professional shopping experience.
Poor Quality and Poor Customer Service
The design I received strayed from what was advertised and I could not have worn what was received without further alterations that incurred additional costs on my part. The zip is faulty and the reply I got was that zip was direct from the manufacturer and they do not supply it? I leave it to the reader to assess whether this is a adequate reply to the issue raised. To conclude I will not buy again since this company will take your money but cannot redress the issues and then remain silent. In response to the Reply from Omsara below, my name in not Kiran and I have not had a reply to my email offering a partial refund. This is the second time I have had a reply but you fail to address the content of the email.

I am so glad I found this website. I ordered a lehenga and I just love it. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. And the customer service is just fab!!! They have answered all my questions patiently and promptly. I would definitely recommend omsara to my friends.

Easy process and very good products
My Lehenga choli came a few days ago with my friends Lehenga as well we had it customised with no issues the fit was good and they left inside seams so we can alter this if need be in future. Overall good service and quality products. I would recommend Omsara but I think if your not sure on how to take measurements yourself it is best to get it customised from a local tailor who will do this for. All in all my shopping experience was good.
Not fit for purpose
I ordered a lengha and paid for customisation to my measurements for the blouse. My order arrived and upon removing it from the packaging, a shower of diamantes fell off before it was even unfolded. More importantly, the blouse which seemed to be in accordance with the measurements given, only had a zip at the back which came down about two thirds of the blouse. It was impossible to try on due to there only being one zip which didn't cover the length of the blouse. I emailed Omsara about this, explaining that the inflexible 29" bottom hem would simply not fit over the 33" chest circumference therefore it was not fit for purpose and I requested additional zips or a refund. I was told that due to the blouse being customised to my sizing it was not part of the returns policy. The skirt hem seems to have paper sewn into it which has a cheap feel and is noise when moved. The drawstring waist of the skirt is very cheap looking and bad quality. To sum up, I am not being offered a refund or further amendment and am left with an outfit that is not fit for purpose and £220 out of pocket. They have ignored my request for a description of how the customer is expected to put the blouse on and have been most unhelpful simply linking me to the returns policy over and over again. I would not recommend this company to anyone, poor customer service and poor quality clothing.

I have received my customised saree order and I am well impressed the quality is very good and is just as shown in the image on site. Order went smoothly so I am happy and will buy again.
