Mostly negative experience with Brevis

Very mixed experience with Brevis The sign up experience was very straight forward and easy, and we had all of the forms to get things moving within a couple of hours (including a phone call from the CEO to help) Unfortunately, Brevis was less helpful during the actually buying process. Getting in contact with our solicitor was very difficult, often requiring multiple emails before we could get a response. There was also long periods where nothing was getting processed, and the lack of communication from Brevis led to a lot of unnecessary stress for us. We didn't feel like we were being prioritised, and my suspicion is that they have too many clients at once leading to delays. Our solicitor also made a mistake, which led to an extra 6 week delay in exchanging. Overall, this meant our chain-free flat took nearly 6 months to complete. Their fees were also higher than other competitors for a couple of extra forms we needed, which felt quite cheeky given their delays errors. So I wouldn't recommend using Brevis.

Brevis were professionals from start to…

Brevis were professionals from start to finish. Sophie did an excellent job at keeping us informed and advised throughout our purchase. She sorted things quickly and without bother. The online system meant we could manage our purchase whilst also both working full time. It got a little rocky when Sophie was on annual leave and others picked a file, a few wires got crossed and we ended up buying insurance policies we didn't need. As soon as Sophie returned this was all sorted out quickly.

Excellent service and easy to contact.

Having the experience of using two previous online conveyancing companies, we certainly noticed the difference with Brevis. This company goes out of its way to provide excellent service. Everyone you speak to is helpful and, without doubt, you can always get in touch with your account manager. This is not the case with some solicitors/conveyancers. From start to finish we found them to have a positive attitude and in spite of our transaction not being as straightforward as some, Brevis gave us confidence that all would be well - and it was. Well done Brevis.

Conveyancing made easy

Having used many solicitors to perform conveyancing over the years it always seemed a little mysterious as to what was going on behind the scenes. Brevis have made the conveyancing process transparent. From initial sign up to completion the process was fully explained and easy to follow using the on-line dashboard. The designated account manager (Lauren) was faultless proactively chasing up loose ends and keeping us informed. I would highly recommend using Brevis for conveyancing and imagine many other companies will emulate this way of navigating this often frustrating process.

Thorough, Detailed, Available, I’d wholeheartedly recommend.

Thorough and Available It took us forever to find a solicitor for our house buy. Lots of negative experiences and complaints about no communication, non-availability, clients having to chase every bit of the process and do their own digging…We even had to change solicitors midway but our experience with Brevis was opposite from all the bad things I had heard. Many times Lauren was steps ahead of us and we had to play catch up. She considered things we didn’t think about and covered our interests even when we had no idea. Although the degree of detailing almost drove us up the wall, we got to understand that, this was them doing the job we were paying them to do. We felt very comfortable and reassured, realising that we were in good hands. Again I say, I’d recommend them wholeheartedly!!!! Thank you Brevis - Amit, Sam, Lauren

A breath of fresh air.

Having dealt with solicitors before, Brevis were a breath of fresh air. It's like they've bought the house buying process into the 21st century. Extremely useful online dashboard and I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process. I will definitely be using them again for future house moves.
