Unique Product but NOT Perfect.....

UPDATE: SmartWings did respond to me, immediately after posting this review, and they finally got a replacement shade out to me, via mail. The slanted Top-Bar issue is now resolved. However the issue of: using the remote [Channel "0"] to control a Pair/Group of Shades, requires triple-pressing STOP before pressing UP/DOWN, otherwise one of the shades will remain still, while the other moves. They asked me to send a video, of the issue, which I will do. I would have preferred they tried to replicate the issue themselves (in the interest of quality control). They now have a "Matter" version of the Levitate [Top-Down/Bottom-Up] Shades, so I will order another set and see how it goes, this time. I'm hoping I can update this review again, if things go well on my next (& possible future orders). ------------------------------------------------------------ ORIGINAL REVIEW: SmartWings sells defective products and they don't honor their warranty. When you call (or email) all they do is give you empty promises and they never resolve the issue. I ordered a pair of Levitate (Top-Down, Bottom-Up) Shades, with the Electronic Motor Option. One of my Shades has a Crooked Top Bar (hangs low on the right side). Also the Shades won't stay in sync, when raised/lowered as a group. 25% of the time only one shade operates and the other remains still. I called/emailed multiple times (since buying these in January) and all I get is lip service, but they never do anything about the issues. 3 months later, in March 2024, they're still giving me the run-around and nothing got resolved. I wanted to love these shades, and I actually need 20 more (for my new house). However, I don't think anybody in their right mind would continue to do business with this company. I waited 3 months before posting this review, to give them a chance. However, it's clear what their true colors are. You're basically dealing with China Products, from a China Factory, easy to predict how that will work out : / It's been a nightmare dealing with Smart Wings and my new house still needs 22 shades. it looks like I need to find another shades company, so I can finally get shades in my new house.

We loved our experience from start to…

We loved our experience from start to finish. The customer service personnel were extremely helpful and helped us narrow down our options. We have blackout as well as light filtering roller shades and they are exactly what we were looking for. The price was amazing too! We paid less for our whole house than we had been quoted for just our bedroom previously. They were incredibly easy to install and sync to the app as well. Super happy with our purchase.

The ordering experience was very easy

The ordering experience was very easy. The blinds work and look great. The only downside was that the external battery requires more space than the 2inch that is listed on the website. This made it difficult to properly mount everything and ensure the battery was secure. Otherwise a very good product

Outdoor Roller Shade Measurements

The shades are great, but I had to make several calls to support, which was great by the way, to verify what measurements to provide. Maybe it’s just me, but it wasn’t clear to me that the measurement you order is that of the valance width, not the fabric width. Also wasn’t clear that you add 2.5” to the fabric width to get the associated valance. Also, that the valance is 1.5” wider than the fabric at the motor end, and 1” wider at the other end.
