I now have 5 motorized roller shades from SmartWings. All are automated through a smarthings hub. They open every morning and close every evening as scheduled. I've had one shade going daily for ~6 weeks and its battery is at 62%. The material on the first shade wasn't what I expected (the sunscreen material provides little privacy) and SmartWings worked with me to get a replacement roll with a different material. Swapping the rolls was fairly easy. The shades pair easily with the smartthings hub which allows them to be automated easily. I'm pleased so far.

It took a couple of weeks for my roller shade to ship, but that’s because it’s custom made. It was worth the wait. The shade is beautiful and works great. I had a couple of questions around setup, but my questions were answered very quickly. I would definitely order from SmartWings again if/when I need another smart shade.

Good product but could use a snazzing up of the interface and navigation. It looks/feels like a medical professional built it. It needs to realize that I don’t want a ‘friend’ - I just need a score keeper’. Make it EASIER — like no buttons to click — just assume if I have the monitor on I want my register my numbers. If Tesla can make a car without handles, why can’t you just read the data off the sleeve without engaging me?

After receiving an automated blind quote from a local vendor of nearly $13,000 this was a great alternative and met our needs at a much lower price point per blind. I’ve already ordered a second set and have recommended them to a couple friends of mine.

My new shade is beautiful! My only issue is that I specifically asked if it would work with my Google Home system and was told yes, but all the instructions are for Alexa. Haven't been able to figure it out, but the shade works perfectly with the remote control.

Our blackout shades worked out perfect for what we needed. Just wish they were a bit cheaper.

Ordered our blinds and we are very happy with them. The HomeKit integration is great. I set it up so they automatically open in the morning. Definitely recommend. Price is good for what you get. My wife likes the look of the zebra blinds quite a lot
