So, so. And you better have experience installing.

Positive: your people are outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was patient and professional. high marks to manufacturing: pre-programming perfect out of the box and shade sizes were also perfect. Engineering gets low marks for putting learn button on top of motor inaccessible with shade in brackets. Engineering gets high marks for bracket design. Instruction developers/printers get low marks for pictogram only booklets (installation, operation, remote, etc.) with little detail Battery mounting really only designed to attach behind the shade so depth of frame needs to be very deep to accommodate both head rail, battery, and lets not forget battery clips. So, having a frame that deep would then cause the black out feature to be lessened from light around the edges.

Great quality, 5 star customer service and unbeatable prices

I was frustrated with the high prices and limited motorized options available from big name companies and decided to check out SmartWings after reading about them in an online chat. So glad I did! My first contact was with customer service as I needed 2 roller shades in a custom width of 106". Their CS rep cheerfully walked me through the process of how to order them, which was so simple. SmartWings may not have as broad a selection of fabrics as some others, but I found a very close match to a designer fabric I liked and it looks great. The shades arrived in 2 1/2 weeks exactly as promised, spot on for size and in pristine condition. My partner and I have installed blinds/shades several times in the past and we agreed this is the easiest install we've ever done. Two of the shades did not connect to the remote so I called CS and she walked me through it in 5 minutes flat. The shades are super quiet and operate very smoothly. Great quality, very attractive, 5 star customer service AND about half the price of what I would have paid from "the other guys".

Love this product

Love this product. I had been searching for an automated shade solution for some time and this was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to easy get custom sizes for all of my windows. The fit was perfect in each case. They support zigbee and zwave. remote works great, as does the integration with my home automation. I love being able to schedule shades, and use voice control! And when i had a question, the support from SmartWings was first class. Highly recommend.

Great shades, Description Lacking

UPDATE: smart wings support reached out to me to help me get the right product to make my smart blinds smart after all. I was grateful for that, thank you! I do think that the descriptions on the website are still lacking though. You DO need other smart home products to use an app! There is not a smart wings app. Just more clarity on this would be a 5 star from me. Great blinds- came exactly as ordered. Original review: My outdoor shades look and work great. My only complaint is that the website makes it pretty unclear how the smart system works. You have lots of options for smart compatibility, but there aren't a lot of details. My specific issue is that I paid extra for a smart motor so that I could use an app to control it and use schedules (as shown on the website). What it DOESNT say is that additional purchases beyond the smart motor are required to even use an app, eg. a third party smart hub or smart link. This is never stated and is misleading, as it only ever states you need a hub for voice control (not app control), and the smart link product isn't even mentioned on the blinds product page. When I contacted customer support about this, they weren't helpful and just told me to purchase additional products (smart link). If this were all more clear in the product description, I'd have no problem, but I was left frustrated that I had spent the extra money and can't use the expected features
