Avoid at any cost
I first encountered Handy when I bought a Google Nest thermostat that included installation. Google referred the scheduling to Handy. I've now had FOUR different appointments and each time NO ONE has shown up. Every time I contact Handy about this (and you have to use chat, the phone number DOES NOT work), all they want to do is reschedule. Then (like GroundHog Day), it happens all over again. I wait around and NO ONE shows up. I'm now going back to Google Home so they understand what a problem and embarassment this company is to them.

HANDY RUNS A SCAM
This is the worst company that we have dealt with while setting up our house. We reserved two times and requested for a handyman for two job. Both the times, they cancelled the job stating that "Handyman not available just the day before". And here is the worst part, they don't refund your money to your credit card. They refund it to your Handy Account. Who does that? The first time, they did not refund our money to our credit card, we went ahead and booked another service and they asked for more money. So, we went ahead; but then again they cancelled the service and then we are stuck with $178 in our Handy account. Handy, you guys have a horrible Business model and its a very cheap and unreliable way to do business. Shame on you Guys.

I hired a professional they charge me $200 for cleaning and then they replace them with an illegal migrant man and I was extremely scared. I tried to cancel the booking and they refused. This is a bait and switch. They bait you with this really great cleaner with great reviews, and then they switch it at the last minute to a scary criminal

The machine I hired leaked everywhere. When I complained they said they would need to get an engineer to look at the machine. Never heard from them again. Shockingly poor 💩 customer service .

Muy mal servicio, nos bloquearon el pos, por no tener ventas con el, no se comunican con sus clientes y si llamas al servicio técnico te tratan mal porque no generas ventas, donde dice que tenemos que obligar al cliente a pagar con tarjeta, es una opción no una obligación, Te mandan un mensaje como si fuera un canal de ayuda, Pésimo servicio, no lo recomiendo.

The person who accepted the job should…
The person who accepted the job should not have. I do not believe he ever read the notes. It said a ladder was required. He did not bring one. He had to drill into cinder block, I had to provide constant assistance. He never worked with the equipment ( concrete anchors). It took him longer time than what was expected. He showed up 20 minutes late with no notification. And now the installation must be re-done as it was not installed properly.
