Handy makes it super easy to find a responsible handyman at the last minute. You may pay a slight premium for the service (which actually wasn’t much more than directly hiring someone), but you get the piece of mind of background checks and their guarantee. Well worth it!

Alexi had a cancellation, so he called and actually came two hours earlier (which was approved). Website estimated two hours to assemble a coffee/cocktail table and a sofa table. He was done with both in one hour. My husband and I assembled one end table and it took us one hour. Alexi was quick, efficient and polite. No left over parts! I had used them last year to assemble a twin bed. I highly recommend them to assemble furniture! Save yourself the headache and stress.

I schedule a grill install based on Weber recommendation. Was supposed to be 2 hrs for $99. Tech showed up :45 late, made a huge mess with screws all over the deck and parts laying on top of each other. After about an hour, he tells me parts are missing (1 was located in the original box). I have no faith in what he did since it seems he didn't follow the manual on the order of installation. BUT then I get a bill from Handy for $470. When chatting they tell me that I asked them to add an additional 10 hrs to the job. WTH! I said that did not occur and there was nothing in their chat indicating I asked for that. They are now saying it will take up to 48 hrs to look into this. This is absolute FRAUD. Not only do I have a 1/4 way assembled grill - likely incorrect - I'm being charged more than 4 times what was supposed to be charged. BEWARE!

My house cleaner actually brought a spray mop instead of a bucket. She used so much that the kitchen floor was left very sticky. She actually skipped my kitchen counters and stove

Professional, efficient, courteous

I had two TV mounts scheduled for last Wednesday morning at 9:00am. My pro cancelled at 8:10 am. There were no other pros available for at least 4 or 5 days. If that wasn’t bad enough, they told me my refund (you prepay) would take 3-5 business days. Never again.

Putting 2 storage racks together Richard was on time and very professional. He finished the job in 1 hour instead of 2. I would hire him again in the future.
