My placed my order from The Diamond Store on a non-working day between Christmas and new year, and while it did take a little longer to be delivered than expected due the the item being out of stock, the customer service team proactively emailed me at the earliest possible opportunity offering me the option to either wait for the product to come back in stock and an ETA of when that would be, or receive a full refund, which I appreciated, normally I would have to contact the retailer for an update in that situation. I chose to wait for the item as it wasn't going to be a long delay and I wasn't in a great rush for it. They kept me informed throughout, the item was well packaged, securely delivered via DPD and I needed to provide a PIN to receive the item due to it's high value which gives me confidence to buy from them again without having to worry about the parcel getting lost or stolen due to being left in an insecure location. The piece of jewellery itself exactly what I was after, and a great price too.

Top customer service. Good products far too much packaging

Ordered a ring just before Christmas and within two weeks a Stone had come off. I emailed to ask what could be done and I was impressed with how quick they responded. I have since sent the ring back as instructed and I assumed I would have just been sent a replacement. But I have had to chase them and had a response today to say they are hand crafting another ring and will take 5-6 weeks! However the same ring in my size is available for next day delivery on their. How do they think that is acceptable. I can't believe a company is allowed to get away with that. I have asked for a refund instead but reading these reviews I am worried they now have my money and my ring. Many of the one star reviews have been left in the last few weeks. I wish I had read them before hand.
