Hotel closed with no notice!

My husband arrived at his accommodation at the Crossley Hotel last night to find it closed. A tradesman advised that it is closed for several months. We had received no notification whatsoever that this was the case; terribly frustrating and unprofessional.

Booked hotel a year in advance and everything went smoothly, checked in on arrival no problem, everything pre-paid so all we had to do was settle in.

DO NOT USE . I made a booking with them via Trivago. It was fully refundable. I contacted them on multiple occasions to cancel the booking and tried for several weeks. They have never bothered to reply. I tried different ways, emails phone, with no luck . Trivago eventually got involved and said I should expect a refund. It didn't happen, when it was meant to. My credit card company eventually provided a refund for me.

I booked with Elvoline only to arrive…

I booked with Elvoline only to arrive at the resort and find out there is an additional resort fee that was $191 ! That was NOT disclosed in the email I received for my booking. I would give it 5 stars if a refund is given. Mistakes can happen but this is not right. In all the bookings I have made, I never have experienced anything like this. Glenn Wallace
