Samples for Thought

I requested fabric samples and was sent 3 samples within a few days. I was disappointed that none of the samples were a good match because British Beds deserved to get the order for their response and their prices were significantly less. Unfortunately, for British Beds another supplier had a fabric that was a perfect match.

Well priced beds

I can only review my experience up to my expected delivery. I like being able to choose up to 6 fabric samples. However time was wasted waiting for samples. I originally choose 4 and had to wait 5 working day 2 before weekend and 3 after. I did ring and was told they went 2nd class post. I had confidence that its products would be what I wanted especially after scrolling through other websites. It has the divan options and sizes needed. I was advised that the delivery company was a separate site and had separate charges for recycling old beds and mattresses and that they would contact as and when British Beds Direct confirm my order will be ready for delivery. I can liase with them accordingly for assembly assistance at an additional cost. The bed prices are very fair and having looked at other companies, are competitive even with the inclusive recycling and assembly costs which are optional.

Pleased with our headboard

We ordered a headboard, which was made very quickly and looks good. The one thing that let them down was their deivery company, which took over two weeks from receiving the headboard to delivering it. The delay didn't matter for us because the room was still being decorated, but it might matter to some. To be fair, another headboad that we ordered from a different company on the same day arrived even later because they took much longer to make it!

A comprehensive website and ordered a few fabric swatches as advised before ordering. I was kept informed of progress and delivery company were great. Only slight disappointment was that the final headboard was not an exact match to the swatch, even though it does state that the colour may vary, I just thought natural/neutral would be pretty spot on.

Horrible experience!

Horrible experience! Delivery totally got wrong with dates etc so their Logistics are very bad. Now i am still waiting for a full refund, it's been more than 3 weeks and only today was informed there was some errors from their sales team / bank :( and still no money in my account and also they have not provided into which account the refund was made. So very disappointed as i just wanted to place another order with them despite their last delivery logistics went wrong. I don't think i'll be ever a returning customer after such a bad experience.

Excellent service

Was contacted by the company letting me know when bed was ready to be delivered after the allotted 14 working day period… date and time arrangement agreed and bed and headboard delivered exactly then! Very good quality bed and headboard, very pleased with everything
