Easy process

Found which wills to be an easy and straightforward process. Replies by email were in a timely manner and the wills themselves were delivered quick.

Easy and Comforting

This was such an easy process as your will is built up paragraph by paragraph in answer to a set of questions. You can also ask for help although I didn't need it. I had mirror wills for my husband and myself and, once completed, there is the included option to register them with Certainty.co.uk so that there is a permanent record of where they can be found. In addition to the process, there is the comfort of knowing that, because it has been produced by Which? lawyers, it will be legally correct and clear to anyone needing to read it. An additional bonus is that it was considerably cheaper than the estimate given by my solicitor to upgrade/rewrite our previous wills. Full marks all round!

False economy

I would advise against using this sort of service for making a will. It may be cheaper than using a solicitor but it is a false economy. The over-the-phone advice is a clumsy form of communication and sometimes the person with whom you speak is ill-informed. I discovered that I would be unable to easily edit the will after submitting it and that any subsequent changes would result in an additional. My wife and I wanted to print off a hard copy of the will before tweaking some of the submissions. I will probably not use the Which will but wait until my wife and I have received our full Covid vaccination and then make a will with our family solicitor. Ours is a straightforward will. I can only guess that more complicated wills produced with the Which team could involve significant problems and extra costs. Caveat Emptor.

I found this time-consuming and…

I found this time-consuming and ultimately useless and the money wasted and unrefunded. You pay in advance and then they tell you that you need to have a firm of solicitors to execute the will. You will find that essentially no one wants to be bothered if they did not create the will themselves. There were other issues too.

Completed a Will and a Power of…

Completed a Will and a Power of Attorney. The processes were slightly more complicated than I had imagined, mainly due to some of the legal terms, but the Legal Review Team were helpful, and gave some good advice. I would say that the processes were good value, and also provided peace of mind.
