Poor customer experience - I wish the team would have communicated how difficult it will be to pick up my order. I was told their team would be out for the week and it has been challenging to find a time that works for both parties. I would expect a business to do more for their customers. Updated: 4/19/2023 After multiple email exchanges we were able to resolve the issue, hence I have updated my review from 1 star to 3. Still some work to be done on the communication front for IO but for now I’m just happy we were able to resolve my item pick up issue.

So after purchasing the rtt just hours before the sale happened, I asked if I can receive possible $ back. Only option was in store credit which was fine in the end. But it took forever for emails back, had to either message again or forward same email to get attention. Still have not received anything from my last message. I did manage to get the rtt in great condition but the xpo service experience wasn’t the greatest..I wanted to check the condition of the rtt so I had to open the box myself, then had to pull the rtt off the pallet then stack the pallets for the guy! He kept commenting for his day to be over and didn’t want to help whatsoever. I don’t blame IO for this but xpo is definitely not 1st choice, reviews of that company will agree. 1 month review of ownership To the rtt itself, it can use some work. The “awning” isn’t just good, at all. I just roll mines up. I like to go camping at the beach and the wind makes it flap all over the place even after drilling at 45 degree angle. It lets in sun in the mornings, my previous rtt did well with keeping it dark or somewhat dark as for this was not the case. It’s a personal preference but wanted to state that to those who do prefer. One of the legs that pull up to keep the rtt stable came loose where it is bolted, still works but is very loose. Just noticed after 2nd day of camping. I will probably have to bolt back it myself somehow. The storage pockets inside are loose but used strong Velcro and did the trick. The back that holds the storage gets very noisy under wind and also brought up condensation. It happened on all four sides inside the rtt, this happened in around 60 degree night weather and around 65-70 degree morning. Wouldn’t recommend this in cold weather temperatures. There is small openings in the corner zippers to the left and right when both walls are fully zipped, it looks like it was designed and I’m not sure why. And the final peeve, I’m 5’5. I have been in soft shell rtt’s and never a clam/wedge style til this rtt, it is a tight fit. I guess I’m used to my legs not hitting anything but they do hit the tent in the corner and there is no chance I would be able to sleep on that side or even lay without hitting my head. I also had to downsize my pillow so that the pillow does not hit the wall and get wet from the condensation. It did so with my bed’s pillow and have to use my travel pillow instead. I don’t want to tear into this rtt so much because I think it’s a great looking tent, easy, lightweight, and probably the lowest profile tent out there. I mounted it myself(on stock 4Runner) on a Prinsu with no issue. Putting the tent down and up is quick. The zippers are also fantastic, these are very durable and have no issues, quite satisfying and assurance when zipping. The “tonneu”style top is great and holds up well as long as it’s taken care of. This does have its cons, I’d say more than pros unfortunately. Hopefully a possible new version will come to fix these issues.
