I did not have the best start with IO but I am happy that I can stand here now and rep the brand and be proud to watch them grow and develop new products. They made things right with me and very excited to do future business with them.

Short story: Inspired Overland’s customer service leaves much to be desired. Longer story: I contacted customer service because a friend informed me after purchase that the IO rooftop tent would overhang my vehicle’s roof, making it impossible to fully open the tailgate. I emailed IO’s customer service: “Do you recommend the tent for a vehicle* that size? And if not, can I cancel my order?” (*Vehicle referring to my Crosstrek) IO’s reply: “Hi Katie. Let us know if you’d like to cancel your order. Thank you.” That’s their entire response. ZERO mention of fit, dimensions, or compatibility with my car. I sent back, “If the tent isn’t compatible with my Crosstrek, then yes, I’d like to cancel the order.” This exchange occurred on the date of purchase, 3/8. By 3/21, I had not heard back from the company, so I reached out again. I was told the tent is already on its way, and there’s nothing they can do about it, nor were they willing to work with me on a resolution.

I experienced a manufacturing defect with my first tent. Customer service was very apologetic and considerate. They provided a remedy extremely fast and explained the issue. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 5 stars for a great product and 5 stars for taking care of your customers. Inspired Overland has gone above and beyond to ensure my experience with purchasing a RTT went smoothly. The whole process from ordering to delivery was communicated clearly and timely. They provide assistance if there was any issue with shipment and will work with you to ensure your tent arrives with no issues or delay. These guys are awesome. Quality products and amazing customer service! In the past i’ve ran Dirt logic for my builds, but i stumbled across Inspired around the time i bought my new Taco and decided to give it a try and i’m sure glad i did! Anywhere from off-roading to highway use to towing, their coilovers and rear resis have really impressed me, the 21 way resis is amazing, i could spend all day just playing around with it. As well as their customer service being as good as they come from the time i bought my suspension to this day they’ve always gotten back to me within the hour even late at night. Inspired Overland has definitely won me over and i can’t wait to continue supporting their products and company, can’t wait to get the RTT next!

Overall 10/10 Installation is easy with brackets provided. Setup and deployment is fast. The tent is extremely light and manageable. Stayed dry in a winter storm 60mph plus winds. Thick material for winter and opens up to large screen windows for the warmer weather. Stoked for sure on this tent upgrade from my other tents.
