I cannot stress enough how much I urge you to look at other options for choices of Solicitor. I instructed Kersey’s to deal with the sale of my house and Edward Thomson was assigned to me. The level of support and communication throughout was awful. It has been an outrageously unprofessional 4 months but let me provide just the highlights: 1. An additional document (Deed of Variation) was required to complete this sale, which was not their fault, but the chain needed to be kept informed of progress. From that moment and despite chasing constantly via phone and email, I received no response from Edward for 13 days. Finally, I received a one-line email at 6:30 in the evening saying that he is working on my case but said little else. It was then a further 12 days before I got anything else from him. So, during a critical period where the chain was at risk of falling apart due to lack of confidence in what was happening, a solicitor that I had paid nearly £2000 for his services, only contacted me once in a month with zero info of note in that one correspondence. 2. Following this lack of comms, I had to take it upon myself to be the go between for all parties, providing daily updates and action plans to all involved. Unsurprisingly, the only person who did not contribute to that email trail for the next 10 days or so was Edward. Any information I got from him (which was little to none over this period) was only provided by the Estate Agent who it seemed Edward would answer the phone to. Had I not carried out this daily task for 2-3 weeks this sale would have fallen through. 3. By the time Edward finally resurfaced with the information needed, time was critically short, so I had to do a 300-mile car journey to ensure he got the signed documents in person, 24 hours before completion. Placing the documents in his hand I asked him to confirm if there was anything else needed and he assured my this was all now ready to complete. At 4pm that afternoon however, after I had made it home, he informed me that the Transfer Deed (TR1) had been forgotten due to, and I quote, ‘all the pressure being on the DoV’. Despite how critical an omission this was, he only informed me via email and didn’t even try to call. I proceeded to email him 3 times, call him 11 times and call his office twice to speak to him about this with no response. Once again, he finally responded by email about 6:30 in the evening. Fortunately, an e-document was created, and I managed to chase around again and got the signatures required to complete the sale. 4. Finally on completion, Edward then managed to send over £15000 of my money to the wrong person. When challenged on this he first claimed that he had not been told that this money should go elsewhere and then, when shown the email he had been sent which clearly stated this, he still refused to apologise or reimburse me for the cost of having that money redirected. He is now failing to answer any of my emails. Based on all the above which I have ample written evidence of, may I advise you to look elsewhere for your support needs to avoid going through the stress I went through that I had to pay for the privilege of receiving.

I have dealt with this firm during several cases as they were always my parents' go to solicitors. However, I found them to be frustratingly slow in the sale of my late father's property, and in the case of my own personal divorce, they accidentally shared all of the information from another client's case with me which not only is a breach of privacy but was also upsetting and very unprofessional. TERRIBLE Beware of this lawyer's office, which has two complaints filed against it with the bar association. They are untrustworthy, taking your money while working against your interests. Some of their lawyers also work as social workers for the state, creating a conflict of interest. Their communication is poor, and you'll often be passed between different attorneys. They are unprepared for trials and may fail to file necessary documents, leaving you in a difficult position in court. My personal experience with them was a disaster; despite paying $5000, I saw no positive outcomes and was left to handle everything myself. My lawyer resigned a month before the final trial due to disagreements over my taking initiative. They continued to bill me until the judge dismissed them from my case. I strongly advise against wasting your money on this firm. They are unprofessional, uninterested in your situation, and don't care about the welfare of children. Other firms may offer similar services with payment plans, so it's worth doing your research. The negative reviews about this firm are accurate;

Instructed Lever Law last summer to do the sale and purchase of my recent house move. While I can't fault the work they actually did communication wasn't their strong point. I was also asked to contact other parties such as the managing agent to ask about things that where way above my level of knowledge, I felt this should have been carried out by the solicitors. I finally received my completion pack this week, I completed in Oct. I emailed last week asking for this and am still to receive acknowledgment of the request, the pack arrived within 48hrs but I think that was pure coincidence rather than them acting on my request. They weren't a bad experience, and the solicitors were nice to deal with... I just wish there had been a bit more communication.

Failed to do what they were required to do in getting out of Club La Costa timeshare contract and substantial redress. Work given to Andrew who sat on our case and did nothing. I believe he was dismissed for dishonestly. Stephanie did not do what was required in seeking substantial redress. All we have is an email saying we are out of contract. All that for £XK paid to Claim solutions group. Very disappointed Fullbrook have not gone back on old failed cases which are resolvable now CLC in administration.

Received initial advice having been transferred by Civil Legal Advice : Go to another firm and seek assistance with raising a Judicial Review (something the firm can't do for me) and even though there is no decision to review so that advice is now inappropriate, having sought clarification, so I went back to Watson Woodhouse. I asked Ellie to double check this position with a Manager, she told me a Manager was not available and a Manager would only tell me the same. Ellie did finally double check the position of Watson Woodhouse and stuck by what is detailed above. My case relates to a housing law issue with my local authority. I am locked into provision of services until the culmination of my case at initial advice level until the outcome of the case. In English, I can't get initial advice from anywhere else. Ellie told me "We are a one off advice service". We have complied with our [Legal Aid/Civil Legal Advice] contract. My issue is that I have since clarified the position. They will have either billed specifically for my case being referred to them (to the Legal Aid Agency) or they are paid a flat rate fee. Either way, this doesn't represent value for money to the taxpayer. I think it's only fair that the public know what Watson Woodhouse are doing with the public's money.

This company helped me out to get some compensation from my local council for not carrying out carrying out successful repairs to my house.

They dealt with my disrepair, and got paid the compensation of £1375 only to send me a cheque of £31 after they had said they will pay me £131. And the numbers they send you don't even make sense. They all in this for money to be honest. The repairs are not completed done still living in a mould house with my children one is really sick because of the mould at the moment. All they care about us the settlement. When they come to your door saying they will help you don't believe them honestly it's all a scam . They are SCAMS

Ich habe leider auch gegen Deezer geklagt und (große Überraschung) die Klage wurde abgewiesen…haltet besser Abstand von solchen Sammelklagen, es gibt nur eine Seite die davon was hat und das seid nicht Ihr. Außer kosten für mich und meine Versicherung kam dabei nichts raus. Anwältin hat nichts gemacht und ironischerweise hat die Kanzlei WBS die mich wegen Datenschutzverstößen vor Gericht vertreten hat, meine Daten unberechtigter Weise an eine andere Kanzlei weitergegeben.

Ich habe die Kanzlei kontaktiert da mein Instagram Blog ohne Grund gesperrt wurde. Nach der Übermittlung aller information hat die Kanzlei ein 13-Seitiges schreiben aufgesetzt und an Instagram übermittelt. Dies sorgte dafür das der Account entsperrt wurde. Die Kommunikation war immer sehr freundlich Zwischen der Kanzlei und mir, auch wurde alles schnell bearbeitet und preislich sogar günstig im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz. Kann ich nur empfehlen

Auch auf mehrfache Bitte hin hat Ra. Luckow das Dashcam-Video vom Unfall nicht an das Gericht geschickt. Seiner Meinung nach sieht man auf dem Video nichts. Ich habe Ihm eine Bedienungsanleitung für das Video gesendet in welchem man sehen kann, mit welcher Geschwindigkeit das gegnerische Kfz aus der Parklücke geschossen kam, ergebnislos. Also bleibt es bei der gegnerischen Behauptung, es wäre nur ein leichter Streifschaden mit geringer Geschwindigkeit gewesen.

Keine Rückrufe, keine Antworten auf E-Mails, ständig wechselnde Ansprechpartner, leider sehr unprofessionell. Wirkt wie ein Call-Center und wird dem Ruf nicht gerecht

Am 08.02.2025 wurde mein instagram-Account unter fadenscheinigen Gründen gesperrt. Ich legte Widerspruch ein und versuchte es auf die nette Tour, indem ich Besserung gelobte. Doch es hatte keinen Erfolg. Ich bekam den Tipp von den Followern, mich an WBS zu wenden, was ich tat. Diese legten sofort los. Am 28.02.2025 wurde mein Account wieder hergestellt. Ich bin mir sicher, ohne WBS hätte das nicht geklappt. Ich bedanke mich für alles und kann dieses Unternehmen nur weiter empfehlen.

Mein Facebook-Account wurde ohne Angabe von Gründen gesperrt. WBS.Legal erreichte durch einen fachanwaltlichen Schriftsatz die Aufhebung der Sperrung.

Für mich eine ungenügende Leistung, die mit einer Rücknahme der Klage von mir endete. Keine Kundenbetreuung, keine Kommunikation. Mittlerweile warte ich seit 2 Wochen auf die Beantwortung einer email. Ich wurde dazu auch kurz mit völligem unverständnis angerufen und wies nochmal darauf hin, dass da ein Anhang ist und ich darauf hinweise. Dann kam :achsooo, da ist ein Anhang. Keine Ahnung aber eine PDF habe ich noch nie als Anhang übersehen in meinem Email Programm. Und ich bin auch selbständig und habe Kunden mit denen ich kommuniziere. Würde ich das genauso tun wie hier, hätte ich keine Kunden mehr. Bis auf 1-2 standrad Emails gabs keine Kommunikation zu meinem Falls. Ich hätte am Anfang eine persönliche Kommunikation mit dem Anwalt der mich vor Gericht vertreten wird erwartet. Es ist aber nichts passiert. Als dann ein erster Gerichtstermin wegen Krankheit abgesagt wurde habe ich den Entschluss gefasst die Klage zurückzunehmen und mein Mandat zu kündigen. 2 Tage vor diesem Termin wurde ich kurz angerufen um mir telefonisch mitzuteilen, dass der Termin entfällt. Als ich über den Fall reden wollte war der Anwalt kurz angebunden und ich hörte nur oh, achso, nein das Dokument hatte ich bisher nicht gesehen aber die Frist ist dazu auch abgelaufen etc. Mir wurde nie eine Frist kommuniziert. Ich hatte mir dann die Frage gestellt: Dein Anwalt hat doch gar keinen Plan über dich, wir haben nie kommuniziert er hat sich nichts aufgeschrieben. Willst du dich dann vor Gericht verteidigen lassen? Nein!

I hired this firm and interacted with the owner and 'CEO' of this law firm Alex Pappin, as well as various lawyers. Ultimately, they lost a big legal matter I gave them with results in tens of thousands of pounds of extra costs for me. They are disorganised, rude, made obvious errors in the work, and I warn any prospective customers lest my experience is repeated. Alex displays one of the most alarming behaviours I have seen from a leader of a business and has no interest in ensuring high quality customer service. EDIT: WRT Jamieson Alexander's response to my review - I am not aware of any overdue fees and have raised complaints to the JAL team without recieving a response. Do not work with this firm - they are highly unprofessional!

We have had the most terrible experience with Jamieson Alexander over the past couple of months. They are either unresponsive or delayed in responding on extremely urgent legal matters where we are under time constraint to act. Their invoicing process is in complete disarray with invoices being sent late or prematurely (before work has even commenced). The quality of work has been shocking because of the firm constantly changing the individuals dealing with our matters and some of these individuals only being available on a part time basis. Despite our many recommendations on suitable ways of working, the firm has repeatedly made the same errors and have threatened to discontinue working. In response to the below reply from Jamieson Alexander, the only fees claimed to be overdue are the subject of complaints that Jamieson Alexander has not responded to in nearly 8 weeks, and tens of thousands of fees have already been paid to date on amtters that include those where Jamieson Alexander has made clear errors in the legal document that have led to increased fees to fix and address. It is alarming that Jamieson Alexanders team charge for work done that is incorrect, and then charge again to fix this work.

I am very pleased with the service received from Jamieson Alexander Legal. Big shout out to Lola who made the entire process effortless and was very organised, efficient and clear at all times. I would definitely recommend them, definitely one of the best solicitors I've used.

After a hit & run, I was referred to Corries by Free Motor Legal as my own insurers weren't at all helpful. Corries got me a payout within 4 months, kept me informed by regular letters & emails throughout the process. Truly disappointed by the services of Mr Howard Bonnett at Corries. We rented from an uninsured landlord with history of negligence. The glass front door had no handles and needed to be slammed to close. While doing so the glass broke and my son 12 years cut his wrist and tendon and had a emergency surgery. From the point where the landlord admitted guilt in the first place and photographic evidence Mr Bonnett somehow lost in court and after that stopped answering our emails where we wanted to appeal. I would strongly advice to stay from their services

Nicht so gut ist: der Vorgang hat sich über ein halbes Jahr hingezogen, und sowohl die Webseite, um den aktuellen Stand nachzusehen, als auch die direkte Kommunikation mit fine sind durchaus ausbaufähig

Ich hatte erst kürzlich eine schlechte Bewertung dieser Firma fine.so abgegeben. Die schlechte Bewertung muss ich korrigieren. Nachdem ich eine E-Mail geschickt hatte, hat sich so einiges dann doch klären können. Das fand ich super, dass sich die Firma dann gemeldet hat und mir erklärt hat warum es so lange dauert. Und jetzt ist es auch klar, wenn die Airline länger braucht um die Sache zu klären, dann kann die Firma Fine.so natürlich auch nur abwarten.
