My family had an awful disaster holiday with tui. Hotel stank of cat pee everywhere we went, the pool was unsafe in the evenings, cordoned off by a rope, the drinks were watered down, our all-inclusive band was cut off one day before leaving, a noisy cockerel crowed right next to my room EVERY MORNING from about 3am-6am, the hotel ping pong table and climbing frame/kids equipment was broken/damaged and the night entertainment was mediocre. The area was unsuitable for families and we were completely mis sold the trip, having to cover the eyes of my 11 year old son walking through streets laden with "I love slu*ts" t-shirts and crude souvenir's, the beach was dirty, covered in cigarette ends and again, stank of cat pee so my 2 year old was unable to play there. I am devastated and already out of pocket £250 for going down the arbitration route to be offered a ridiculous £350! After waiting months and not hearing anything from them, I contacted them to ask why my award hadn't been looking at, to get a rushed decision, clearly the facts haven't even been considered. I'm not being asked to pay £350 + Vat to have my case looked at again!!! What an absolute insult, this is DISGUSTING! I wonder if anyone has actually been successful taking these big holiday companies down this route, HUNT ADR are just a useless SCAM, don't waste your time!

We found the Hunt ADR service to be excellent. Ella was our 'go to' person , she was very helpful, polite, efficient and always returned calls. The Arbitrator did a brilliant job with our case and it was satisfying to have somebody finally listen to how this situation had effected us. We was kept up to date regularly and all time lines that was estimated were kept to. We was awarded half the cost of the holiday back plus fees. The portal was a little tricky to navigate initially but its a good way of keeping track as everything is on there and what stage its at. Thankyou Hunt ADR

I was dealt with in a very polite and courteous manner by the administrator Ella Suffrin. She kept me up to date on the case and what it was I needed to provide with regard to my claim. When the claim was rejected by the travel company, I was informed exactly of what I needed to do next to take the claim to arbitration and the cost. Being made fully aware that if I won my case the cost would be refunded. Although there was no response after 28 days , a message to Ella for an update was soon followed by a response by the arbitration case handler. It was great news that TUI had been found to be accountable for some aspects of the claim and were made to pay compensation. I would recommend using Hunt ADR if you have a dispute with your travel company.

Like all the other reviews - exactly what you expected happen.. the arbitrator took well over the 28 days, the wording is clearly hurried. He probably decides our cases in 2 minutes and then onto the next. cant use anyone else but huntADR and £350 to challenge the decision.

Disappointing effort from the arbitrator who had to be prompted to respond to our claim well after the 28 day period they allow. Final award was clearly hurried, the wording was misleading and simple mathematics were incorrect. To challenge this hurried response would have cost another £350 plus VAT and goodness knows how much longer in time and energy. Clearly companies like this don’t understand the hassle it’s already taken people to get this far. Other staff members were polite and helpful but really unimpressed with the arbitration process.

While they maintain having considered all aspects presented, they focused solely on what they deemed the most material issues, suggesting a selective rather than comprehensive response strategy. Particularly troubling is that although the matter proceeded through ABTA arbitration, their focus remained narrowly on contractual aspects while failing to address the fundamental standpoints of our claim. It is deeply concerning that ABTA, as a CTSI-ADR approved body, directs consumers to HUNT ADR - a company that notably lacks CTSI-ADR approval and offers no cost-free route for reviewing natural justice concerns. This referral to a non-CTSI approved body seems to contradict ABTA's own standing as an approved alternative dispute resolution provider. The requirement of an additional £350 plus VAT fee through HUNT ADR to challenge decisions exceeds typical small claims court costs for self-representation. This structure not only creates a significant financial barrier to justice but also raises serious questions about why a CTSI-ADR approved organisation would recommend a dispute resolution service that lacks equivalent consumer protection standards and imposes substantial costs for appealing decisions.

I had a strong case against Easyjet and Easyjet initially contested that Hunt had jurisdiction over the matter. They infact did, however the racism that I experienced on holiday (which was the main part if my claim), was deemed to be outside the scope of the scheme and I had to rely only on other matters which obviously meant that the value of my claim was reduced. I should have been offered an alternative platform to address my matter. Ella from Hunt ADR was very useful. I won my claim, however the damages awarded were insufficient and did not cover the pain and discomfort experienced by being bitten by ants in your bed.

Awful service! They are clearly on the travel companys side. Absolute scam. Wish I had just gone to the small claims court. Their response was shocking, not taking anything into account and zero empathy to the situation. Wish they worked more like The Ombudsman. I had a claim against P&O, would never ever use Hunt ADR again or P&O and would def not recommend.

All I can say is completely incompetent, I had a very good case against TUI and these uneducated individuals completely ruined my whole case. My arbitrator had no comprehension of the written word.

They told me it would take a couple of days, but then they had the filing ready immediately and wanted more money. Doesn't add up. Also, the mailing address is in my state and also isn't there. Not worth the risk.

Then he tried to pressure me into hiring them / paying for their services to file to USPTO. I've reported this interaction with screenshots to the FCC & USPTO.

Completion day was almost a disaster! Everything went smoothly from the start until the day of completion. There was a delay, which I believe Rowberrys were responsible for, regarding releasing the funds to my sellers. Which almost caused me to be in breach of contract and incur a penalty. As a result of the delay, my sellers solicitors would not release the keys to the property. This then created further issues with my removal company, due to the delay. I subsequently found out that the staff at Rowberrys, Crowthorne, had left the office to attend their Christmas do. Therefore, leaving the office and phones unattended. And clearly oblivious to the fact that they had not released the money to my seller before leaving the office for their Christmas lunch. After leaving the person dealing with my property sale a voicemail, the money was finally released. Just avoiding a breach of contract situation by 15 mins. Completion day is always very stressfuI. But this has to be the worst completion I have ever experienced during my time selling property's over the years. I didn't even receive an apology from Rowberrys for the error. Very unprofessional!

I was extremely impressed with the manner in which the sale of my property was handled by Mr. Rogers. He kept me informed at all stages of the process and any queries on my part were swiftly dealt with. We selected Challenor Gardiner for house conveyancing based on the reviews available, the fact that they were local to where we lived, and also because we did not want an on-line only conveyance – it would be uncomfortable to send these large sums of money to a solicitor that we could not visit physically. Also, the price compared favourably to other options. The conveyance was pretty straightforward – it may be very common, but some of the covenant terms were difficult for lay people to understand. The one way in which the solicitor could have helped more is in translating these complicated paragraphs into plain English. Other than that all went smoothly, and there were no unexpected extra costs. We would recommend them.

He also took my details my name, postcode and email address and then put me on hold to brief my story with someone and then was told to wait till tomorrow. I am in doubts it being a trusted service so will keep my eye out on anything dodgy.

We just purchased our first house and we were recommended Devonalds Solicitors, in particular, Sara Edwards' Team who handle conveyancing. They use an app that makes it really easy and convenient to check updates, and progress with your case. It's not without its issues however, we found it particularly useful. They respond quickly, and they are great in person and on the phone. As Brits we love to complain about the weather, GP receptionists, and how solicitors love to "drag their feet". We found the process super fast and we were kept in the loop the whole time. No feet were dragged. They gave us great advice when we were worried and provided us with clear options when choices needed to be made. They did an amazing job, and we are very thankful. Hopefully we won't need to buy / sell again but if we do, we know where we will go.

Called three times in a coupe of days to engage a solicitor to act on my behalf. Mathew wasn't available so I left a message to call back explaining that the case is time sensitive...... no call back. I called this morning to reach Mathew and the person who answered the phone was very abrupt and not very welcoming at all. From there I was passed to someone else, who although more friendly, needed me to explain the reason for my call - this is now the third time and third person I've had to explain this to, without even speaking to a solicitor. Needless to say I'm off to someone else.

I chose Devonalds in Bridgend because I wanted to give business to a local firm. Also I prefer to be able to drop off documents personally rather than sending things through the post. A visit to the Bridgend office is not, however, to be recommended - especially if you suffer from any chest complaints. The office reeks of damp such that it is unpleasant to spend any time in the reception area. It does raise the question how can this company care about you as a client if it doesn’t seem to care about the health of its own staff? Nobody should have to work in that literally stinking environment. Dear Devonalds bosses, wherever your HQ may be, please don’t pretend this is news to you. I wrote to you over a month ago about this matter but nothing has been done. Apologies to Luke who dealt with my recent sale. This is no reflection on your work. Scam alert !! Don't go by the positive reviews, I've used them for couple of jobs. They are indulging in fraudelent and deceptive business practices just to get more money out of the client when they are approaching due dates and when they have no other choice but to heed to their demands. They seem nice in the beginning but then start to extort money. I paid them 58000 for annual compliances and everything seems to be going good for first few weeks but as soon as deadline for any compliance approaches, they start asking for additional payments saying that it was not covered in your package. The scam is when the BD creates the package for "all annual compliances", they deliberately don't specify the details and leave a lot to interpretation so that they can then extort money at the last minute of the deadline. Earlier I thought that it was a geniune mistake on the part of the executive but when the same started repeating every single time there is a deadline (for ROC or GST), I understood the scam is on a wider level involving entire company. You end up paying almost double the amount that was quoted and paid for as advance otherwise they will put your work on hold and will do this everytime the deadline is approaching.

The professional made me wait without any updates for almost 15days on the process and the process of application was done only after my repeated reminders after 15days. 2. However the application got rejected and a they asked me to produce an NOC for which I had to spend an additional amount of 5000 for obtaining it, inspite of which the application got rejected again. The company is not sure whether it might get processed or not. 3. Since the service was incomplete after wasting a lot of time from my end, I had claimed for a refund for which the company is not willing to initiate the refund. Anyone would take up such services online trusting that the company will help them to find better and easy ways to do it and also doesn't hesitate to spend any money. But when the company is not able to keep up their promises it doesn't matter provided they give a good costomer service. But here even that is not good. Calling them for complaints will still connect you with the same customer manager and not any other executive which will not serve the cause of customer service.

A fraud company took my rs700, and after that, they asked for more money and did not respond. The whole process is not transparent. I am not able to trust them anymore, so how can customers trust them for further payment? There is no transparency to the customer. Very bad experience, I have never seen such arrogant and irresponsible behaviour of the staff, it's been a month now that I have applied for a fssai license they don't even have a courtesy to receive the call and inform what's happening, if they need any money they call and beg for it, GO LEGAL INDIA you people will end up in hell for doing such a scam, you bloody parasites.

Technically you should be free from legal liability with Hpi if no stolen or damaged/repaired status is currently shown but something I learned recently is that vehicles are removed from the 'stolen/Recovered' register after write-off, auction, repair and successful DVLA safety test pass/re-registration and unfortunately there's a two tier system at Hpi as my search showed no previous Category R and S status, (neither do the V5C logbooks), that I only discovered by chance when I clicked on a car finance email link, (received after 'comparing the market' for insurance quotes). The agent who phoned me said that their Hpi search "Lit up like a Christmas tree" with alerts for both the original and current VRM's, (number plates), indicating that the ostensibly undamaged car had in fact been stolen, accident damaged, recovered, written off/insurance paid and then I subsequently found out from another history check elsewhere that my car had also been Cat S salvaged and sold twice at auction, even including both reports and sets of damage photos from 2018! I eventually bought the car anyway once I'd satisfied myself that it was no longer a legal or moral liability but only after a week of back and forth confusion and questions to the oblivious seller and the additional report mentioned above via check car free, (checkcardetails as it appears on the bank statement), a link to whom I happened to click and try in frustration at being told by Hpi that the car was completely clean apart from some alerts on the current private plates which I assumed were a clerical error associating a written-off donor vehicle's damage with mine that appeared normal. Finance "Company Hpi reports" apparently have a deeper level of history than the public are given access to and for that reason, they couldn't lend against my car since it was once registered as stolen/recovered so I just paid cash as originally intended but thought I'd quickly check the finance option beforehand to help with cash flow if I qualified. In conclusion, unless you trust and value Hpi's £30,000 Buyer Protection Guarantee, (which btw, another reviewer has complained that they wouldn't honour in his particular case), my advice is to instead try to finance it and see what they say or use checkcarfree dot co dot uk as for £9.99 single and £19.99 for 5 they present a far more complete report, (at least in my case given its Cat R/S history), that Hpi didn't even mention, (presumably because the car is no longer a legal liability for them, only a financing or financial one if a subsequent buyer like me does their due diligence and finds its dodgy past from someone else!). So whilst using Hpi alone I would have been 'legally' safe to buy the car, there are doubts about the structural condition now but at least I know to check it thoroughly for signs of reported structural damage/repair to verify them from 2018 when it was re-registered after write-off and two auctions as you'd never know looking at the bodywork which is in excellent shape for its age and mileage though it did strike me as a full respray when I first saw it, causing a healthy level of apparently justified suspicion! Needless to say, I won't be using Hpi again after this headache unless they announce that in future they'll include the entire available vehicle history which was supposed to be the whole effing point! (By the way, if you ever spend two hours composing something like this and it won't work when you click 'Submit', the page token or time out has simply expired and you need to refresh it, so always copy text to clipboard before clicking send, enter or submit. Sometimes if you're lucky, clicking backpage works to recover lost text but don't count on it).

Hpi don't honour their guarantee. Car shown as clear when i bought it later shown 11 months later as a Cat S write off. The date the car was written off by the insurance company was prior to my original clear HPi check. HPi refused to compensate me under their guarantee

We had a check done on a car which came back clear so we bought the car thinking it was ok. We then found out when we came to sell it that the car had a salvage record (Cat U) against it. When we queried this with hpi check they just said "sorry for the inconvenience". The moral of the story is if you want a *complete* HPI check then go elsewhere (and pay half the price)

The service was very good, the only complaint was the number of digital forms l had to complete.

We went through with BLS with Michael S. and Kayleigh M. on our case for a relatively straight forward free hold terrace house purchase. It took 10 weeks from instruction to completion. Throughout the process there were some minor twists and I had to call the firm couple of times a week for 2-3 weeks. Whenever I had to phone BLS, whomever took the call, be it Kayleigh, Zinonas or Ami - they always answered my call with friendly demeanor and trying their best to help. The service provided by BLS has a bit of personal touch, being a family business and all - for example their 'guide to conveyance' pack, besides the dry legal stuff to beware of, had a bit about reminding you to bring a kettle and other bits and bobs when moving in! Can't say much if your case is complicated because mine was not - but if your purchase / sale is quite straight forward and you want a friendly, communicative firm - BLS is one to recommend.

While the members of The Opal Group seem professional and friendly, the company appeared disheveled and unorganized. I encountered Ice when he requested my Mobile Notary Services. I was about to buy a property pre auction and Kathryn O'Rourke was a life saver for me! The seller and the other solicitor were worse than bad as they did not respond normally, were very slow and were trying to steal money from me, and Kathryn was always replying to my emails/ calls very swiftly and professionally! My sale took 3 months because of the seller and his solicitor, and she always had the time for me! She made sure that i do not pay more than i have to and she saved me a lot of money! If you are looking for a solicitor who will act for YOU and will answer your email and calls then use Kathryn O'Rourke! I would for sure use her again!
