My experience has been amazing. Once the survey was done and work began it all got done efficiently and to a high standard. All the workmen were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Absolutely delighted with all the upgrades and it will save me soo much money in the long run, the only thing I would advise for the business, which didn't effect me because I work across the road and my older daughter works from home so there was always someone around. But never new when people were coming no book in times dates etc. You know that work is getting done eg within a 4 week period but say someone would show up Monday do there bit then the next would come say like Thursday but never know that so always thinking is someone coming today lol apart from that Absolutely amazing would recommend to everyone

All the workers were professional, courteous and friendly. We had a few different teams in as ours is a bigger property. Plasterers were excellent. The teams tidied after themselves. We also had electricians, plumbers, joiners and carpet fitters. A hectic couple of weeks, now just decorating 🙃

Very friendly workers and incredibly helpful. Kept everything as tidy as possible and made sure we were very well updated throughout. Couldn't have asked more of them.

We have recently had insulation, solar panels and a heat pump installed by LMF or their affiliates. We are delighted with their Service!! Firstly we had a survey, then an asbestos inspection and finally an electrical check. Each time we were well informed in advance and the appointments were at a time to suit us. First in were 2 guys called Dave & Dean who came to insulate our upstairs (which is very small with sloping roofs), despite the difficulty of access and the rooms being fully furnished they managed to do a great job. They worked hard and overcame all the problems of our house cheerfully, consulted us frequently and were friendly and we felt totally at ease with them in our house. Next came the Solar Panel guys. The scaffolding was put up in about an hour a few days before. They came at mid morning and were gone in less than 2 hours! No Fuss. The electrical team had a hell of a job as our house is old and very small but they managed to find a place for everything. At one point we had 7 guys in our house but they all worked well together and were finished by 5. Next came a nice lad who made the holes for our extractor fans. Again he consulted us at every turn and did a good job with the minimum of fuss or mess. Lastly came two self employed heating engineers, Andy & Derek tasked by CB heating to fit our heat pump. They have done a cracking job, we had no heating system at all so they have installed everything! Radiators pipes etc, again, in a house this small it was no joke but they found solutions to everything and the finished work looks great. In conclusion we are very happy we chose LMF for our installation. All the tradesmen clearly knew their jobs well and did no damage to our house. They were friendly helpful and answered all our questions. They all cleared up after themselves and are a credit to LMF. Just a final word about the office staff, they were at all times polite and helped us feel that we were the customers and our wishes were important to them. They arranged everything at our convenience and kept us well informed of what was happening and when. We are an older couple and were a little nervous about the whole project but the office staff at LMF were happy to take time to allay our concerns and were available to us to ask any questions whenever we wanted. I can thoroughly recommend LMF and the contractors they use, we are delighted with our new heating system it will be a much more pleasant winter for us thanks to them and their high standards.

It seems you are either eligible in which case they are all over you like a rash, or you aren’t and they forget about you. My mother who is 85 was told she should apply. Lots of installations have gone up in the road already and when the original survey was done the surveyor ‘implied’ eligibility for this and that. However, due to funding cuts I was made aware of, I then had a phone call from a GP discussing her medical history. Was then asked, almost pestered, to get a second survey done and this guy also suggested heat pumps and solar would be eligible. A month later after no contact, I chased on email only to be told ‘ Just checked the system for you, unfortunately following the survey your property didn't meet the minimum requirements to qualify for the funding. Sorry about that, if there was anyway to go ahead with the job we would proceed, but the funders just wouldn't approve the funding for the job.’ So…. A couple of things really irritated me over this. Perhaps the surveyors should keep their mouth shut when doing such surveys so not to falsely imply that there is eligibility when it is clearly not their decision and the lack of communication when your not eligible as if they are no longer interested really REALLY annoys me. I used the word ‘pestered’ above, it was getting to that. Almost working around their schedule rather than mine but when they lose interest you are no longer their problem.

We live on the Wirral and recently had an ASHP System installed along with 12 solar panels and underfloor insulation. The various engineers that have been in our home were all knowledgeable and respectful. They left the place clean and tidy and the installation itself was seamless. The kit is nice and neat and they worked with us as we were having some renovation works done at the same time which was impacting where certain pieces of equipment would go. Nothing was too much for them and there was clear communication from start to finish. It’s hard to believe the value of what we’ve had installed completely free of charge and the impact it’s going to have on our home! This a great local company and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Thank you so much LMF!!
