LMF- what a shambles.

I have no complaints about the sub-contractors who put up scaffolding and installed solar panels, but the organisational skills and communication from LMF has been atrocious - messing up installation date by sending solar panel installer round before organising scaffolders, for example. No single person took responsibility for maintaining contact with and updating us - multiple different people from LMF contacting us over time and telling us differing information, one person just didn't answer emails at all, which meant I had to chase up several of the named individuals to try and get answers. Installation of solar panels was completed in February and they still haven't been switched on in May. We were told the work had to be inspected first and then they would switch them on. Then later we were told we had to switch them on ourselves, which means going up in the attic and following instructions sent by email. There is no loft ladder in that part of the attic and my husband and I are pensioners. I would not recommend LMF to anyone.

The people that installed the solar…excellent work people

The people that installed the solar panels were very well dressed, polite and respectful to my property also the electrician that connected was polite and respectful to me. They worked well and efficiently and cleared up any debris that was inside or out.

Poor customer service/lack of communication and misled!

After our EPC survey was completed and eligibility confirmed on medical grounds our application was approved on 14th march via a phone call, were given installation dates of 4th or 8th April and advised we qualified for Solar, Heat Pump and Boiler energy improvements. This happened to fall on our easter holiday and we had not seen anyone from LMF to explain the system or install details. Eventually an appointment was made to discuss with a representative who failed to turn up and then didn't answer texts. After speaking to the office I was told to reappoint when back from holiday. On returning from holiday I received an unexpected call call saying the installation was cancelled as funds weren't available for the work. Subsequently told it looked like a problem with the EPC, a second survey was done with no change in the outcome. Feel like we've been misled, our time wasted and still none the wiser why they told us we qualified and set an installation date in the first place! Edit: Sent details as requested. Never heard from them again!

The office staff were excellent very polite & helped me to understand everything step by step . The scaffolding company were very good clean and tidy & Friendly. The Solar panel company were also good very quick and efficient. Thank you again LMS
