Absolutely disappointing

Absolutely disappointing! Will never use it again and do not recommend to anybody. Tried them two times, including today, 8th of March. Half a year ago the flowers were delivered around 6pm. Today it's almost 8 pm, no delivery yet! And no chance to get in touch with them. Would you think it's ok to get flowers to your loved ones late in the evening while their occasion, be it birthday or women's day starts in the morning? Never again!

Sending flowers from a far

Living in Edinburgh and sending flowers to my daughter in Kensington I opted a local service rather than using Next or M&S who I would normally use. Local is best and a received a great service.

Flowers only lasted 4 days!

Flowers only lasted 4 days then started to wilt! Complained via email but they require photographic evidence within 2-3 days who does that. After responding to their initial email dismissing my complaint, I had no further response. By contrast a friend had a similar problem with a leading rival (rhymes with Intarora) and they were given an apology with an instant discount. This company hides behind "their" T&Cs. Beware or Avoid

Excellent customer service saved original disappointing experience

[PLEASE SEE UPDATE BELOW] 28 February. Desperately disappointed with my first experiencing using Flower Station. A good friend of mine’s father passed away and I had booked with Flower Station to send her flowers Firstly, the delivery charge for same day delivery (booked on Monday morning) was £9. High but acceptable for the same day. I shortly received a call after paying for the order saying it could take be done the same day and would have to be Tuesday. According to DHL, the delivery has still not been made - two business days later. Apparently they are due to be delivered tomorrow but that will have been three days in transit and with a £9 delivery charge, that simply isn’t acceptable. Have requested a refund of the delivery fee and for fresh flowers to be sent to my friend - will await their response. UPDATE 29 Feb Upon speaking with Flower Station (Alex - who was excellent) regarding the issue outlined above, they immediately acknowledged that the flowers would likely be dead and not suitable for delivery. They offered to phone the delivery company to find out what had happened, phoned me back immediately afterwards and offered to phone the recipient to find out when would be a convenient time for new flowers to be delivered. Alex then phoned me back straight afterwards and booked in new flowers for the revised date. While very frustrating, I have to commend Flower Station for the way they dealt with it this morning - very efficient and was resolved within 15 minutes. Highly commendable customer service so revising the review up to four stars.

Wrong delivery

As a Valentine’s day gift, the chocolate is nice when it’s attached to a flower. When you mess up an order and forget to deliver the chocolate with the flower and deliver it late in the evening, so you need to do something as the compensation to keep your customer happy. This is the most basic rule of a business.

Refused refund for £166 bunch of dying flowers

I ordered 24 roses for my wife for Valentine's Day, costing £166 - very expensive, but I wanted top quality ones. They arrived in a sorry state - turning brown and dying. So of course I complained, emailed photos, and requested a full refund. To this I got a series of boilerplate replies (beginning 'Dear Customer') in which they admitted the flowers weren't acceptable - but refused a refund, twice! Saying their policy is only to send replacement flowers - even though they would arrive far too late for Valentine's Day. Only after I sent them a summary of consumer law from Which? magazine, pointing out they're *legally obliged* to offer a full refund, and then initiated a dispute via PayPal and my credit card company, did they finally relent and refund me. Even then they made the refund out to be a special generous exception to their (illegal) Terms & Conditions, not mere compliance with the law. All this required an exchange of 8 emails with them over four days. For comparison, a few years ago I ordered flowers from a different online florist, which never arrived. It turned out they had been delivered to the wrong address. As soon as the florist realized the mistake, they issued a full refund, without my even asking for one. Contrast Flower Station: expensive, bad flowers, and really bad customer service & attitude. You'd expect better from a company charging this much. I certainly won't use them again, and don't suggest you do either.
