Don’t buy from paving superstore

Where do I begin. If you are looking to buy paving buy else where. This was my second purchase from paving superstore. First time fine any damages I had were replaced. This time my delivery came I could see the top slab was broken. Opening the rest to check wasn’t possible my builder couldn’t come due to the weather and opening all (135) pieces to check them wasn’t possible as I didn’t want them damaged as they are all individually wrapped. So I emailed paving superstore to tell them this and show photo of the one on top that I could see was broke. I explained the rest weren’t checked. Now when the builder came three weeks later I had a lot of damaged slabs chipped and broke. Didn’t think there would be any issue contacted paving superstore to get these exchanged. Think again I was informed then any damage has to be reported within 7 days. Now this is a very expensive purchase. The whole experience an expensive nightmare. After a few emails that they take at least a day or more to reply to you, I’ve been told I can’t buy the porcelain slabs that are wasted, as they don’t sell them individually. So that means I need to buy another 40 and the porcelain edgers that are damaged. So everyone reading this IF YOU ARE BUYING SLABS DONT BUY FROM PAVING SUPER STORE As you will see with there reply I wasn’t aware of the 7 days to check everything that was because when I bought from them last year there wasn’t an issue in replacing any damages. What I feel is unfair you pay a fortune for slabs some arrived damaged and I’ve to pay for that. Normally I would have checked then all but due to the weather the job couldn’t be done and I thought it was better not to take them out there individual packagaging incase they got damaged. How stupid was I. Regarding the refund for the broken one that was reported on the delivery day I am still waiting on the refund.

Called ahead to arrange and called to confirm when delivered. Clear, crisp and able to follow quite difficult instructions on where to deliver! Thanks

Paving Superstore superstar experience

Good easy website to choose required pavers ordering & payment well laid out easy to use. Delivery was spot on day & time driver very helpful delivered pavers right up to my back garden . Pavers were very well packed no damages. Excellent experience from start to finish

Shocking courier service (EVRI)

This is not a review of a product, but the courier service. The product was on back order, which I was aware of at the time of order, however, once available, I received no communication from either the vendor or EVRI that the items would be delivered. The box was left by the back gate in the pouring rain for a number of hours until I returned home in the evening. Luckily, the product was in plastic containers and undamaged, even though the packaging and delivery note was destroyed. The box could have been placed anywhere under the garage covering, out of the rain and behind any one of 3 brick pillars. Here's a thought............Use a reputable courier service and let people know when products are out for delivery.

THIS COMPANY OWES ME NEARLY £2000,00

This company happily accepted my order in November for paving they claimed to have in stock or on 2 days delivery. They took nearly £2000.00 ; and when cancelled the same day on learning this product was no longer made, they said it would be 4 weeks to return money; They eventually said the company had ceased trading as Paving superstore, and was now trading as paving Superstore Ltd. They would be happy to take any further orders. They have to date not refunded any money. DO NOT PLACE ANY ORDERS

Dreadful customer service

I ordered porcelain paving in August. They haven’t delivered despite persistent chasing, saying I had to be patient, but offering no explanation. Dreadful customer service. They have apparently gone into liquidation. Basically the same people (Bruce/Georgina Read) are running things under a different company. I’ll shop elsewhere.
