Almost 2 years after signing up... nothing is done

I wrote a review a year ago about how they hadn't done any work on my case. Now, almost 2 years after signing up with them, I've been passed along from case manager to case manager without any resolution. After paying a little shy of $9k I still have absolutely nothing to show for it.

No resolve no reduction no forgiveness…

No resolve no reduction no forgiveness just paying extra to Taxrise and also to the IRS no help on my years I did not file horrible communication during the whole year plus now this has been going on thousands of dollars for what someone to ask me to do all the work then they plug in the numbers … no help would not recommend

When I called it was shortly before the end of the day, and the guy who helped me understanding. He was able to help me understand what was happening with my tax returns. I recommend this company to take care of anyone’s needs.

What's with all the 5-star reviews???

What's with all the 5-star reviews? I couldn't even get a response from them, much less become a customer. I have an annoying tax issue to resolve -- not a big one, but annoying -- so I submitted an inquiry via the form on their web site. I later got an email from a "David Young", identifying himself as my Appointment Manager". His email talked about how to schedule an appointment, and inviting me to email him if I have any questions. I did send an email -- twice -- with some questions I wanted to ask first in order to make sure it was worthwhile before setting up an appointment. I currently live overseas, making scheduling appointments a challenge, so I wanted to ask some things first. I never heard back from anyone, and since I could not find a "David Young" among any of the firm's employees on LinkedIn, I'm wondering if that's just the name they gave some kind of bot linked to their web site and other systems. I also messaged one of their existing staff via LinkedIn, and that was never replied to, either. It's been 3 weeks now, and still nothing from them. I'll be getting a different firm to handle my issue, since I'm not going to put settling a tax dispute in the hands of people who don't reply.

I enjoyed my time on the phone with my taxrise agent he was so sweet I explaining everything to me and made me feel comfortable with what plan is best for me and he was amazing. Thank you so much Hunter for being so sweet and understanding and explaining my options
