Please read my previous review "HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED" Remember, I stated they had dropped the ball when then irs started sending threatening letters of Property Liens, Garnishments, etc., well, it took a Bad Review to get someone's attention. someone call to say he was my new Rep., which I said I declined to work with the company. hadn't heard anything back from that time. I got a call asking me to call a 888# that didn't exist to discuss resolving the issue. In the beginning I was told I would be REFUNDED ALL MONIES if they could not resolve my dilemma, They COULD/DID NOT!! I WANT MY REFUND!!. I have contacted a Local TV station to put them on blast if i do not get my refund soon! Yes, I'm angry because I was on the verge of a Heart Attack/Stroke.
Terrible Company
Terrible Company. I was lied to from the get go. They said they could remove all interest and penalties and negotiate a lower monthly payment plan. I paid them over $3000.00 and they came back with a payment plan that was higher than the one I had. Stay far away from these people. Very bad!!!!!!!
Taxrise is a scam
I sent Taxrise over $2,000 in late October 2023. I was informed via email that it may take 30 to 60 days for resolution of my case. I received this email for a few more months. I sent them an email a month ago requesting my money back. It is now May 16 2024. Nothing from these thieves. Don't give them a penny. By the way...I gave them all of my personal and financial information. Think about what they really do.

On May 6th, I called regarding getting help on my back taxes. I talked with an agent and went through the steps of the program; what I thought would be a good company and program to work with has turned out to be one of the worst mistakes I could have made with TaxRise company. They pulled a payment from my account without it being authorized. I precisely had said I would make the payment myself, and the agent listed off the forms of payment they had on file; I said I was not sure what form of payment I would make from what cards they had on file that I would log on through the portal and make the payment myself I later emailed through the portal said I would need to go to the bank in the morning to transfer money to an account. Later that night, I checked my bank account and noticed they had pulled the payment without my consent from an unauthorized account; I canceled my policy the next day. I've called multiple times and gotten the runaround on when the payment will be returned. Their policy is three to five business days. It's day seven, and STILL NO REFUND. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY; SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!
