Disgraceful service and poor product. Purchased a pair of oak veneered doors from JB Kind at £477. Prior to order, several personnel at JB Kind advised us that doors had an 18mm oak lipping and that we could remove 12mm from the sides and 10mm from the top. To our horror we removed 5 mm from the top of a door and the ugly MDF core was exposed. Looks cheap and nasty. We complained to customer services at JB Kind and they accepted NO RESPONSIBILITY for the problem even though our purchasing decision was based on their advice. We escalated the problem up to the Sales Director who we felt was equally dismissive of our concerns. The solution from JB Kind was that we install sticky veneer on the door edging to hide the ugly MDF problem. The door finish is not fantastic for the money. We have been a long-standing customer of JB Kind but will NEVER use this company again. We’ve recently used an alternative supplier who are not JB Kind who print their trim sizes on the door packaging and they are exactly as specified. The doors are better quality and value for money.

I bought 10 Eden pattern doors, to replace existing painted doors in my home. The J B Kind website was very easy to navigate and the Eden door was offered in the correct sizes for us - unlike some other outlets. Additionally, the overall price was competitive. Delivery was prompt and communication excellent. Finally, one door had to be exchanged, owing to a defect. This process was very straightforward

Poor quality doors for their price, if I would've seen them in a shop I wouldn't have purchased them. Once hung as French doors they were twisted so don't aligne flush at top or bottom. They also need better finishing off for example sanding as they are so ruff. Very disappointed in quality at £230 per door wouldn't purchase even if they were half the price.

Door has just been delivered, great looking door and well worth the money. Will buy more.
