This company is not what it says it is

This company is not what it says it is. Inability to put leave large sum into saver and glitchy app. Decided product unusable, wrote emails, no reply after weeks. Tried phoning during open hours, goes to answerphone saying closed. Very fishy. Seems fraudulent. They still have the small sum I first put in which feels like and may well be, theft.

Brilliant support when moving house.

Have been with Tandem for a couple of years now. Very efficient and easy to use. We are in the process of moving house so have been transferring large sums from investments to pay moving costs. Using Tandem as a staging post to get a bit of interest while waiting for solicitors, etc. The fact that it is so easy to move money in and out is a big plus. Have just withdrawn money to pay solicitor and removal company. Funds in my account in less than 10 minutes. And just changed my address via web chat in less than 10 minutes. Brilliant service. (Thanks Ryan.) Highly recommend Tandem.

Had the account for a year

Had the account for a year. Good account, easy to use. On criticism is that it’s a bit slow on the transfer of money in and out (take about 10 minutes on average).

I misunderstood the T&Cs and thought it clearly said I can withdraw early from a fixed account, but will not get the interest. I also didn’t realise that I only had 14 days to cancel - I asked to cancel it 17 days after it opened. I did actually read all the T&Cs, which is why I’m even more surprised that I misunderstood it so badly. I didn’t find the staff to be sympathetic or helpful, but rather more ‘computer says no’. Also, the app crashed in the middle of the chat and it was impossible to get back on it again - had to restart my computer.

This has to be the worst app based…

This has to be the worst app based online bank I've ever had the misfortune to use. The app is completely insecure, asking for me set up a passcode every time I log in yet never saving it. Customer service seems to be non existent. There is never anyone available to contact on the in app chat help. No one answers email either. Can't see the point in sitting on the phone for hours waiting for someone in a call centre to answer. The app will not connect to my bank to create transfers. Absolutely abysmal. I will be leaving this bank as quickly as I joined.
