Totally useless service, no replies to emails
Totally useless, called them stuck in a queue for ages when they did answer told me they couldn’t help and needed a different dept that i couldn’t call, said they would send via email to the dept my details and what i required which was repayment figure to pay off loan, this was 3 weeks ago, i have constantly emailed them with no replies whatsoever. Bet if i cancelled my direct debit payment to them they would be in contact like a shot.
Avoid Tandem - poor service
I just try to call them. They make me waiting 1h 15mn and hang up on me telling their office is now closed. They have a queue of more than 50 customers because their communication is poor. Avoid.

Had a really bad expierence with there broker zuto was without a car for 10 weeks and wanting the repair money back after 10 weeks of fighting with zuto and dealer tandem stepped in and reimbursed me with in 14 days! Great service
Poor communication
Tried to call them to speak to them about my loan. Kept on hanging on a very slow moving or perhaps no moving telephone service. Got to number three in the que and then suddenly was cut off. No response to emails either. Clearly the service is a joke. I think i will settle my loan and get out of this joke company.
Complaint
Today, I receieved a call on the back on an email that I sent to Tandem Bank. They had made an error with my direct debit, which caused me to go overdrawn. I was quite upset and angry when Charlie called me. He was so nice, he helped me and explained that there had been an error made. He logged a complaint for me and offered £30 as a goodwill gesture as I had been upset. Charlie has fixed the problem for me, and now I am happy that the direct debit is fixed.
Utterly atrocious scammers
Utterly atrocious scammers. Do not open an account with this bank. I sent holiday money to my Tandem savings account, it left my current account but didn’t arrive at tandem. It said “Error completing transaction” on the tandem app. I contacted tandem and got a generic stock response. I explained again what my issue was and they said it was my issue with my bank not theirs, and even if it was them it was a third party called TrueLayer responsible and not them. The customer service representative Ryan was appalling and had no interest in the situation. My holiday money is gone. Do not use Tandem they are Godawful scammers. I will be going to the ombudsman about this awful situation.
Very pleasant
I had to call to double check my direct debit for a loan.Louis was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. It has to be the most efficient and polite experience I have ever had with a bank. Usually when dealing with any bank I end up enraged or I get passed from pillar to post, but dealing with tandem was a very pleasant experience.

Unable to contact
Spent hours trying to get through to them, as soon as you get to first in line the call drops. Have sent emails too and no response. Not had an issue with them as a provider, however, I think when someone needs to get in touch they should be able to.
