quick delivery on time kit in good clean working order

Gbp50 fee for collection and delivery of a few crates costing gbp20 is outrageous. It's cheaper to hire a zipvan but causes hassle. The fee should be adjusted for the size of the basket!

From the original booking to any questions to the collection Crate Hire were professional but friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Don't have time to phone them, no problem they email back within the hour with the answer!! Would use again!

The use of the crates for our moves was fantastic. We colour coded and labelled so knew where everything needed to go in the new office

Apart from driving down a pedestrian precinct, slavishly following the instructions of my satnav, for which I will pay a £65 fine (and that of course was not in any way the fault of Crate Hire UK) on my way to collect the crates, the entire experience could not have been more straightforward and successful. The skill of the Natal born picker/loader in getting 20 crates into my Toyota Auris was a sight to behold. The crates did everything that was expected of them; the crocodile lids will happily carry the weight of 3 more full crates on them. When I needed to extend the length of hire [a thoughtless miscreant having gone over a red light and wrecked my aforementioned Auris] and arrange for collection [you can't get 20 crates in a Fiat 500!] instead of me returning them, the Administration at HQ was smooth and swift. The sight of one man conveying all 20 crates on his trolley into and out of a lift, the door of which was no more than 3 inches higher than the pile of crates, was one I shall not forget in a hurry. First-class work all round.

Very efficient and professional

All perfect. Quick drop off the day after ordered. Easy to extend time needed and quick pick up once we had moved. No fuss. Crate dollies were excellent - they made the crates really quick and easy to move.

Crates were ordered online but I had a queried which was answered fully and promptly. Crates delivered and collected on time with no fuss. Excellent service but not cheap!!
