driveway gates bent paypal charge back
Purchased at set of driveway gates no delivery date provided the just turned up one day one gate was bent and twisted I emailed no reply I phoned left message no reply I phoned again and got someone the were not very helpful but said it will be sorted, well two weeks later still no contact from them or a replacment gate. I emailed again still no responce. They left me no choice but to do a paypal charge back, this company should be avoided at costs its not worth giving your money to them I say again avoid them.
AVOID
AVOID - Ordered £800 shed nearly a month ago and not one email to update. Called to find out what was going on and told it ‘should’ have been shipped by now. Promised a call back that day and a week later still no call. Phone line not accepting calls now even though it clearly states Mon-Fri 10am - 5pm. Honestly don’t waste your time, pay a little extra from a reputable company.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Purchased an expensive garden set. Initially I had a minor issue with it but after several emails I eventually gave up and the issue was never resolved. I have just gone to use the parasol and the wind up mechanism has failed. The parasol is hardly used and has been stored inside most of the time. This company has refused to help even though it is out of its 1 year warranty by only 2 weeks. Short, sharp and unhelpful replies to my emails. I do not recommend and will never purchase from them again.
Excellent product - Excellent delivery service
Excellent product - Keter BBQ Station purchased from Garden Street at a very competitive price. This has now been assembled and is of good quality. Was kept informed of delivery by email and received a call from the driver on the day of delivery to advise of delivery time. Delivery driver was friendly and helpful. 5 Star service all round - Thank you :-D.
Refund Requested
Ordered an arbour seat but it's been a nightmare - due to non delivery by 'Store More Garden Buildings Ltd, which Garden Street use. I have now had no less than THREE delivery dates given to me over this and have no confidence in this company any more. First I was given the date of 2nd June. Then it was changed to this week for 25th May so we organised for someone to be in for delivery. Today, just 2 days before this, I have yet another email to say it's been moved again - to the 9th June! That would be almost a month from the time of the order of 10th May. Had I known this would take so long I would not have bothered and the worst part is not knowing WHEN the thing will arrive. How can I have any confidence in the process when they keep changing delivery dates? Sort it out Garden Street or I will have no option but to cancel the order and seek a refund without further delay.... UPDATE 26TH MAY: Yet more problems. Got the delivery date sorted, the arbour arrived but with no instruction or fixing kit. Garden Street emailed the instructions, which helped us check whether all the parts were there but without the fixing kit, our builder had to go away until it arrives. Honestly, they just don't seem to care about customers. We spent almost £1,000 on a previous order for a canopy, which went well - but after this debacle, have no reason to ever order with this company again. UPDATE 1ST JUNE: Still no fixing kit! So they prefer to have the order cancelled, have the item returned and give a refund, rather than sending out a fixing kit? Go figure. Great way to run a company lol! They have until tomorrow, 2nd June and if nothing arrives, I will exercise my rights of cancellation due to incomplete order and then ask for said refund. IF they don't comply with that, I have asked my bank to reverse the transaction under a Section 75 for credit card refund. Be warned about this company! UPDATE & REQUEST FOR REFUND: Clearly, this company is not to be trusted. They sent me an email days ago but the fixing kit still has not arrived. How do they expect someone to put together an arbour seat without a fixing kit?? They have not responded appropriately, have never apologised and not offered anything in the way of compensation or even followed-up the delivery of said fixing kit, without which the arbour seat just sits in pieces.... This is totally unacceptable. I warned them I would request a refund for incomplete delivery and they have ignored that too, so today I have finished with chasing them. If they don't collect the item and/or process the refund, then I will proceed to asking my bank to process a Section 75 chargeback on my credit card. This process is available for incomplete orders and can be started a month after placing an order. First I have asked the company to refund and collect the arbour but I don't expect any response now as they have stopped communicating. I have allowed 7 days and then will revert to my bank without further delays thereafter. What a company! Their lack of communication shows all the signs of a company struggling/going under....
Garden Street were great to deal with
Garden Street were great to deal with, the arbour was of a very good quality and price. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the instructions that came with the arbour weren’t great-we ended up watching a YouTube video to help-this of course is down to the manufacturer and not Garden Street 😊

I was kept informed all through the delivery process. My street is tricky- steep hill and parked cars both sides - and the driver was great in getting to us. The bike store is great!
