Very pleased with this splitter as I had a large Ash in my garden that had to come down thanks to disease and there was enough wood to last a few years. Anyway the 7T splitter was more than up to the task and has some really nice features. i would say that the tall stand and work surface are essential and the only tool I needed to buy was circlip pliers to move the wheels. Very sturdy bit of kit and good value. Quick delivery too.

Ordered chipper in May, didn't hear anything specific eg. an email. website said stock delayed till end of month, then June, then end of June. asked for a refund and to be notified of stock. no communication. stock shown on website (price had changed three times in a week) ordered and had to phone to sort out confusion over duplicated order (despite full refund) they never confirmed this was cancelled so phoned again, unwilling to refund me the higher price of the two orders despite miscommunications/ two months overdue. etc chipper arrived fine, packaged well, good instructions, multi spanner is crap but they always are. works well and seems to perform as promised. two points on the machine itself, the choke lever is flimsy plastic and not really fitting of "a commercial capable machine" in my opinion. also the wiring looms are absolute crap, complete afterthought and no clips or connections provided to tidy them out of the way leading to very careful moving of machine until I can rectify this to save catching them on obstacles. overall ok. appreciate there was a pandemic on but a simple email isn't diff. have since ordered spare blades and belts no issues. Update after running the chipper for approx five hours. The blades are chewed to pieces despite being careful to shake the branches of any dirt or stones. I cannot change or sharpen the blades though since of the six bolts only two have come out (note this is by using a 3 foot breaker bar not the T spanner provided) the bolts that have come out show signs of loctite/heavy corrosion!?! I work on the railway. I'm used to dealing with bolts torqued to 300+ NM. Waiting for a mechanic friend to bring an impact set over. not impressed.

Ordered the replacement strimmer engine. Delivery was good and arrived well packaged. However it is different from the images on the website in that the exhaust is blowing towards the user! No idea why anyone would design an engine like this... emailed the company and got a short reply saying they were all like this. Not great and misleading that it is different from what is shown on the site....

Just bought the 8 ton splitter and stand, delivery was 2 days and I’m delighted with its performance! Happily splits huge beech logs into manageable pieces.

Good online support when choosing product; 7-tonne splitter. Arrived here in France as scheduled and in perfect condition. Once assembled, it did exactly what we wanted and has already split a good number of logs for next winter.
