The build quality on these overpriced…

The build quality on these overpriced glasses was a complete let down. Within 1 year they had completely self destructed. Loved to see colors but i cannot spend 400 every year for this. So very disappointed and wont buy another product. Ripped off.

I believe enchroma is a scam. Ordered 2 pairs hoping for the best results, or just a slight improvement, neither of which happened. Is this just my experience?Apparently it isn't.

Scam as far as my personal experience, then reports of similar let downs read and viewed. Sorry enchroma, I do trust my experience.

Mostly just a novelty... Technology a bit oversold

While the glasses may be revolutionary for some wearers, for my red-green colorblindness the general extent of the effect is "meh". Colors across the board are heavily muted and red/green only modestly distinguishable. I think the technology is oversold. As far as their "60-day, worry-free return policy", the level of documentation, packaging, shipping, etc was anything but, so I decided that these are just an occasional novelty to bust out during peak foliage season. (For some reason you solicited another review from me, so you get another review...)

The gift of color is the best gift of all

The gift of color is the best gift of all. I bought the outdoor glasses for my boyfriend who is red/green colorblind. When he put them on, he immediately grabbed the glasses box which had a purple side saying, “oh my god, what is th-is this PURPLE?” We cried and laughed, and purple is now his favorite color. I gave the glasses to him while we were in a vacation in Arizona. I had regretted my location choice leading up to giving the gift because I felt there wasn’t much color. Just dirt and cactuses. But boy was I wrong. After freaking out about the discovery of the color purple, he immediately noticed the patches of green clover that were sticking out in cracks of the dirt, and was just amazed at how “vibrant everything is, it looks like saturation is turned on.” The dirt was “so much more red” and the grass in between popped out at him. A landscape where I thought there was so little to offer, when in reality I was just not appreciating the vibrancy. I am now shopping the indoor colorblind glasses for him so he can continue to live his life in color.

Very nice, outdoor ones work best

I definitely love my Enchroma’s and carry them everywhere I go. I got an outdoor (aviators) and indoor pair, the former of which definitely works better. I also have a light sensitivity thing where almost any sunlight hurts my eyes without sunglasses, and these have become by go to so needless to say I wear them a lot. Oh but don’t believe the faked/exaggerated videos; they definitely work but it takes a bit of time of regular use for your eyes to adjust to them and for them to work fully. So if they don’t instantly allow you to see colour better, just keep wearing them and give it time. Also I recommend getting the insurance/warranty thing, if anything happens to them or the lens gets a little damaged there’s not really anything you can do if you don’t get the warranty. Oh yeah I have severe protanopia by the way.

May Help Some, but Definitely Not All

Honestly, I see no difference between these sunglasses and my other ones. They may help some red/green color blind people see these colors better, but they did not help me at all.
