Having read some reviews I began to wonder if we were talking about the same company . Ordered the lock a couple of months ago.....got an email after 2 weeks saying they didn't have the colour cover I wanted But if I was OK with red then I'd get it in two days.....which I did . Today I got a parcel from litelock with another cover in the colour I originally wanted free of charge..........so five stars for that .

Buyer Beware- check older trust pilot reviews, not just 1st page

Update 30th May. Issue sorted with Liteloc. Thanks to Rachel for her hard work, I’m now the owner of the Litelok Core Moto 150. It is a fantastic lock and probably better than any alternative out there at the moment. Leaving aside the dreadful communication issues and marketing apparently driving sales for an out of stock item, the product is all they say it is Ordered Litelock core moto at the NEC on Dec8th, paid in full at the time. Was expecting delivery in New Year. BUYER BEWARE. 17th May, still waiting. No communication from them unless I chased, each time given excuses re production delays, apologies and revised timescale, each time they have failed to deliver, but apparently if you order online today, the delay is only 2-4 weeks according to the current listing UPDATE 17th May, tried calling, mailbox full unable to take any more messages. Sounds like they’ve given up on all the pre orders Still advertising online and on FB, even listed some events they are found to be at…. I’m going to go along and make a fuss and try to deter every interested parties that may turn up 2nd Update When calling select accounts not customer service, they will refund the money immediately. If everyone who is still waiting does that, they may get their act in order 3RD UPDATE…. LOOKING AT MOST RECENT REVIEWS, ALL “INVITED” (MEANS LITELOC ASKED THEM TO DO A REVIEW) I DO WONDER IF THEY ARE TRYING TO GAME THE TRUST PILOT SYSTEM…

Key got stuck unable to remove or unlock

I bought my litelok gold lock from Evans bike shop 5 months ago, it has been easy to use and I was confident it was the best lock on the market. Unfortunately the key jammed in the lock today and I was unable to remove my bike or the key. I called a local locksmith who cut the cable in approximately 10 seconds with an angle grinder. So I guess it’s not that secure !! I’ll return the lock with key still stuck and hope they will refund my money and the 120 pound locksmith bill ?

Very disappointed with the delay thus…

Updated June 13: I have now received my Litelok Core PLus Bike and the product looks very good and sturdy. Thank you for Debra for continuing to answer my emails and giving me the tracking number where I could track the final mile of the purchase. It took a long time to receive it and might just be worth the wait. Updated May 24: No tracking number received yet, I sent another email to the Customer Support team. Very disappointed with the delay thus far - - the lock looks like a good product but I have received no tracking number since I purchased it in February.

Please can you use a courier such as DPD that gives a 1 hour time slot or at least an idea of when the package will arrive? I received a text from dhl saying the package will be delivered before 9.00 pm tonight. That’s a whole day of hanging around. Not good enough.

Small manufacturing error but costomer service was great and otherwise it’s incredible!

I ordered 2 lite lock cores because I live in a rural area where there likely won’t be many things to lock my bike onto besides trees, lamp posts, and telephone poles. But I wanted the highest protection I could get. I’m planning to use these for my rad runner plus, witch is an electric bike. It was expensive and will be my primary source of transportation. It will not do for me to leave work and it be gone. I’m happy with the speed of shipping. I live in the US and these only came a few days after the accessories for my bike did. At most it took 20 days to arrive (I wasn’t checking my mailbox regularly so could be less). Unfortunately one of the locks seems to have a chink missing and the dust cover for the keyhole is also missing on that lock. It doesn’t feel like it’s particularly weaker at that point and not having a locking cover won’t sacrifice the protection. I may reach out to customer support to replace that lock, manufacturing errors happen. I totally get it. I don’t believe that’s going to be the majority of the experiences and these locks are impressive! I did hours of research before finding these and they are so light for the protection and space provided. I’m very impressed I don’t think you can get a product like this anywhere else. This is where I will recommend you get your locks from. Would be 5 stars, but the manufacturing error on that 1 lock. Again, very light considering the protection. I was actually expecting them to feel heavier than they do. And personally, I don’t find wearing it comfortable but probably would be fine with it if I had gotten the 75 vs the 100 (My waist is too small). But the extra 25 cm is more important to me than the wearability of the product. If wearability is what your looking for I would recommend going with the 75 as it comes with an I suppose extender strap for wearability. I’ll update the review with my experience reaching out to customer service if I do. Update: costumer service was great, my replacement lock just arrived with the return slip for the defective one. It was very easy, and there are no issues with the new lock.

ordered in January 2022, still nothing

I ordered in January and still haven‘t received the lock. I sent several mails to customer service. Ok, they answered quite quickly, but only to tell me I have to be patient and I‘ve been told one excuse after another. The money is gone. I don‘t believe in the lock be shipped anymore and I will demand a refund. very sad, because it looked quite promising in the beginning…

Poor communication

Orderd via the kickstarter 2 years ago, and received little communication on reasons for delay in delivery. Finally though, they responded, & worked really hard to get it to me even though I had moved countries.

Pre orders never delivered

This company appears to be living on cash taken in forward orders that it never delivers. Ordered in January with a promise of delivery end of February. No update so chased to be told end of march. Received email saying will be despatched by 4th April. No update and over 2wks later No delivery now 2.5 months overdue. Please don't add to the growing money in this companies account for goods never delivered. Poor customer service, poor communication and no delivery. Forget it and order elsewhere
