Two locks received, as ordered. Only one works. No response from the vendor when contacted. Unimpressed.
Write down the key number ASAP
I carelessly lost both my keys and so cannot get replacements as understandably they don't give them out willy-nilly (I don't have the all important key number). It's a shame but my fault, I've only used the lock once, only had it a month, but there you go. I have a couple of suggestions 1. Make it clear in the packaging that came with the lock that you need to record the key number immediately (before use) and 2.Like with lots of cycling stuff offer a discount for breakage or loss. I will be buying another lock as it seemed an excellent bit of kit.

08-03-2022 Received a free replacement cover the day after it was promised. Now that is excellent service. 04-03-2022 I received my long awaited order of the Core Moto 150 today. I placed a pre-order on July 3 2021 with an expected delivery early Sept. Delay after delay after delay. Very frustrating and communication was not forth coming at first until I chased it up. Thereafter communication was very quick after every email I sent them. I understand peoples frustrations but I held out for the lock and persevered and it did eventually arrive. The ladies dealing with the delays certainly seemed sincere and very apologetic and they even offered me a small discount which helped in the waiting. I called them twice on the phone for updates as well as sending emails - all without any problems getting through. The lock is great and has a very robust look and feel to it. I'm new to Litelok and its certainly a lot lighter than a chain albeit it is quite stiff bending it through the wheel of your motorbike. Careful you don't mark your rims as I did fitting it to my Honda Grom. I understand that apart from an angle grinder attack this lock can resist all the other forms of attacks. The lock came with a light nylon carry bag but I could not get the lock to fold tight enough to fit inside, so that was useless to me. The only regret I have was ordering orange instead of black. Orange looks fantastic but it marks very easily if it touches your chain or picks up brake dust and despite washing the cover, it did leave faint marks afterwards. At least black will hide the marks if that bothers you. I emailed Friday after hours and received a reply early Monday morning from Litelok who very kindly offered me a replacement black cover. I've given a 5 star review because the product is excellent. My emails were quickly answered and they were very professional by phone. I felt they tried to do their best under the circumstances. My experience has not put me off buying from Litelok again and their Core Moto 150 is a great deterrent against scumbag thieves - who our fight is really against.
Failure to Communicate, at every turn
For a company to not be able to do simplest task of copying and pasting updates just shows the total lack of respect for customers. No communication what so ever even though they said they would be reaching out to costumers when they unexpectedly switched plans as to products. I messaged to cancel my order and have not heard back. If they can't respond now, how is a reasonable customer supposed to expect them to respond if the product is defective or the customer needs additional assistance. Wishing I had my money back.

Hello Rachel or anyone at this company. I ordered one of his locks almost a year ago they still haven't received it I am fed up I am disgusted and I am angry. I'd like someone to contact me via email or phone calls tell me why in the world it's taking a year to get this lock and I still haven't got it.

Litelok Core Locks - No show. Plus shoddy redesign.
I purchased 2 Litelok Cores back in June 2021 via Indiegogo, expecting delivery in August as advertised. The month they were due to be manufactured & shipped out has been pushed back every month since. We don't even receive updates telling us when to expect our locks. Instead, we have to look up updates on Kickstarter to find out when we might receive our locks. The product has also been redesigned without our consent. They advertised three sizes for us to choose from. And now we have only two choices. With a crude piece of elastic attached to the locks, that somehow justifies this. It does not alter the fact that we now have a smaller lock. The aftersales service is non existant. There are loads of customers asking when we shall receive our locks, and we are all being ignored. I would not shop at this company full stop.

I paid £179.99 for a Core 150 in October. Not received. No proactive communication. A simple message to Litelok: …… you have everyone’s email …. Send a generic email every few weeks with an explanation.

I purchased a Litelock GO flex-u early Sept 2021 which seemed to be a good replacement for a heavy U lock. When I removed it from my bike bag last week the lock cylinder fell out of the unit. All the bits were collected together and taken to a reputable locksmith who told me it was unrepairable and ill thought out design. I would appreciate a reply from supplier after several un sucessful attempts to respond to phone & email I would not suggest anyone buy a similar product and would therefore like a full refund of £79.99.
Solid product, communication needs work
Edit, March 2022: Received my CORE lock and it's pretty sturdy. It's heavier than initially advertised and not as flexible as I had hoped - but I think it will keep my bike safe. My previous review was pretty negative because the communication was so poor in Indiegogo - this picked up after I posted on Trustpilot and I think they're genuinely trying to rectify this now. February 2022: Hi, I’m an Indiegogo backer and have sent a few emails (January, November) to customer service about Indiegogo updates and had no response. There’s a communication vacuum and disparity between the treatment of Indiegogo and Kickstarter backers (I have just emailed again this morning to address this) and would appreciate a meaningful update re: whereabouts of Litelok CORE. Appreciate you may be up to your eyes in correspondence, but this may be remedied with a good update to explain: - whether the batch production is just for Kickstarter, or all backer locks - why Kickstarter is getting more updates - when we can *actually* expect our Indiegogo locks - why Neil responds on Kickstarter and not on Indiegogo. We’re really disappointed with the service. We were told in December that they were being shipped at speed but…were these just Kickstarter locks? Why update to say the first ones were out the door if indiegogo weren’t going to get ours for months and months? Grateful if you could review your processes to provide better customer service, backer relations and improved communications. Also - the phone number on your website doesn’t work and your social media channels are totally dormant. Would advise removing these for good UX.
