Appalling customer service and attitude.

I ordered an X3 and twist and go mount for £264.98. I asked why it had not been delivered to be told that it has a 30 day lead time. As if I just somehow knew that. When it eventually arrived I discovered the twist and go mount does not fit the X3. Yes if you read the small print it does state that but ordering a lock and mount seems an intuitive thing to do. I asked how to return both items and after 5 days got a reply with a link and stating I would have to pay postage. With a 2kg plus lock this is not cheap. The messages were all very defensive and blaming in tone. The lock itself is good but this company’s customer service stinks. I would advise choosing one of the alternative companies to deal with.

Buyers beware - Nice lock, shame about customer aftercare........

Great lock, I think, but at this price it's also about the aftercare that a company offers too. I ordered a spare key and on the webpage it advises wait time is up to 21 days (they probably should change that 'lie' now!). Fair enough, but upon receiving my order confirmation, I saw that it advised a wait time of 7 to 10 weeks!!!!! I was livid. I emailed Litelok's customer service to be informed that despite paying £250 for a premium lock, I'd have to wait that ridiculous amount of time because they like to send a bunch of replacements to the key manufacturer to do in bulk rather than individually. I paid £25 for the replacement key so it's not as though I am getting it free is it? As I then researched, rival company Hiplok are considerate enough when a customer buys one of their premium locks such as the excellent D1000,. that they have the decency (take note Litelok!) to provide a replacement key in around 7 days. If a person did lose their keys this would mean their cycle or motorbike could potentially and literally have to sit locked somewhere for up to two and a half months!!!!! Not a great situation to find yourself in! @Litelok has demonstrated a complete disdain for customers and I now wish I'd have gone for the @Hiplock D1000 now as @Hiplok obviously value their customers and their aftercare clearly demonstrates this. Potential @Litelok buyers beware- imo, once they have your money, Litelok don't really care about you and providing good customer service!

Excellent service and great product from Litelok

Just purchased the X3 Moto from Litelok. I did consider waiting for the new Hiplok DX1000 but I have bought other locks from Litelok and always had really good service. The site says approximately 30 day wait but the lock arrived in 14 days. It was all very well packaged, the lock itself looks and feels to be excellent quality. I would definitely buy again from Litelok.

Balanced Review of LITELOK's LITELOK X1 Purchase Experience

I recently purchased the LITELOK X1 bike lock from LITELOK, and I wanted to share my experience for others considering making a purchase from this company. The journey from purchase to delivery had its ups and downs, so here’s a fair assessment of the entire process. Ordering Process and Delivery Timeline: I placed my order on the 19th of March, expecting a prompt delivery based on the timeline advised on LITELOK’s website. However, the lock was only collected by the courier, Evri, on the 26th of March, with the final delivery happening on the 29th. This delivery timeline significantly exceeds what I, and likely many others, would consider acceptable in today’s fast-paced e-commerce environment. To put it into perspective, I ordered a bike online, which arrived in just 3 days, yet I was left waiting to use it because the lock's arrival took notably longer. This aspect of my experience with LITELOK was disappointing and fell short of the high customer service standards expected in the current online shopping landscape. Product Quality and Security: On a more positive note, the quality of the LITELOK X1 bike lock itself is commendable. It is robust and gives me considerable confidence in leaving my bike securely locked up in public spaces. Following the fitting instructions closely, the lock performs exceptionally well, meeting my security needs without compromise. The construction is solid, and it’s clear that LITELOK has invested thought and effort into the design and functionality of their product to ensure bike owners can have peace of mind. Overall Impression: In summary, while the delivery process left much to be desired, the quality of the product itself helps to offset the initial frustration. For future customers, I would suggest setting expectations for a possible delay in delivery but rest assured that the quality of the LITELOK X1 is likely to meet, if not exceed, your needs for securing your bike. It’s a mix of feelings – disappointment in the logistical aspect, yet satisfaction with the product. I hope LITELOK can work on improving their delivery times to match the high standard of their products. In considering future purchases, potential buyers might want to weigh the importance of delivery speed against the product quality they’ll eventually receive. For those who value security and quality highly, the LITELOK X1 comes recommended, with the caveat to plan for a longer wait.

Bad customer service - Hopefully good product

After recently reading Bennetts BikeSocial's good review I ordered a Litelok X1 Moto 18th March with the indication dispatch would take place in 7 working days. Sent and enquiry mail on the 26th March relative to the delivery date, got an answer on the 27th in an e-mail that "there was a minor delay in delivering the order and would be dispatched tomorrow (28th March) from the UK warehouse". Received a second e-mail the day after stating the "the delivery will take place today". 3rd April no update on shipping (to Italy). Probably busy buying/eating Easter Eggs. Very bad customer service, happy to charge your credit card though. Will update this review if anything of interest happens. Had to buy a different brand's lock to (hopefully) protect my new bike in the meantime... Probably choose Hiplok in the future if I have to get another lock, from other reviews it seems their delivery & customer services are much better.

Litelok X1 won’t open anymore after four weeks of usage.

I got my Litelok X1 about four weeks ago. It got delivered to Germany within four weeks as promised. In general inward happy with the product. Build etc. as expected. But now I got my bike locked in the backyard and the X1 won’t open anymore. After four weeks of usage. I’m not sure how to solve the situation and luckily the bike is locked at home. But I completely lost my trust, what would be if sth like this happens on a road-trip? And this for a 200€ lock! I used other big brands for years without any problems the lock not opening. Really disappointed. Update: After several emails with support I got provided a replacement quite fast. This works well so far.

Product great - but EVRI used for standard delivery

I'd read great product reviews about the lock, and decided to purchase one. However one review mentioned the use of Evri for standard delivery. Given their dreadful service reputation, went for the premium delivery via FedEx, and the lock arrived without a hitch, ahead of the promised delivery date, and within a week. The package included online video set up and usage instructions and I quickly installed the lock on my bike. It's a fairly heavy lock, but, so far, the twist and click bracket has worked very well and is a lot better than my previous, Kryptonite, bracket, which kept slipping and sliding down the frame. No issues with usage. Only change I'd like to suggest is the provision of three rather than two keys. Oh, and yes, for goodness sake dump Evri if you want good service ratings!

I purchased a LITELOK CORE lock

I purchased a this lock. Initially I was very pleased at the build quality. There doesn't seem to be any way you can cut through it.However only weeks later the actual lock mechanism got jammed. On the 24th Jan 2024 I sent litelok and email with a video of the problem and they were not responding. It took a paypal complaint to initiate a response. I have requested they send me a new lock or a refund. Very basic simple customer service. There was nothing wrong with the money I paid with however the product is faulty. It is now 10th Feb 2024 and they have done nothing about it. Here is the video for those interested at what could happen. Imagine being in the city and not being able to lock or even worse unlock your bike! To see the video, go to youtube 'Faulty Stuff 25' and click on 'Shorts'
