Made in the UK. Sent via Netherlands to Portugal In December. It arrived 3 days earlier than stated by UPS. And in Christmas week. I'm impressed. Nice looking lock, and a great design for frame fixing. Except it's hopeless. Swings about and weak plastic clip to hold it to the frame. Not man enough for the weight involved. Just a thought, but if I was a bike thief with an angle grinder, I'd cut the item that the bike was attached to. Usually stainless steel.

Langsamer als versprochen, aber geliefert

Als ich hier die Bewertungen zum Lieferverzug gesehen habe, fürchtete ich, ich wäre einem Scam aufgesessen. Tatsächlich meldete sich nach der Bestellbestätigung niemand mehr von Litelock und als ich eine Nachfrage schickte, kam auch erstmal nicht (trotz 48 Std Support Versprechen). Ich hatte mit Paypal bezahlt und als ich überlegte, die Transaktion zu canceln verwiesen die extra auf ihre lange Sicherheitsfrist, so dass ich dachte, ich warte mal noch nen Monat ab. Siehe da: nach 1 Woche kam die Antwort von Litelok und insgesamt nach 2 Wochen (statt 3 versprochenen Tagen) die UPS Versandnachricht. Schloss ist nun wie versprochen angekommen und in gutem Zustand. Ich glaube, die sind vom eigenen Erfolg überrannt worden und haben einfach noch nicht die Infrastruktur, um das alles super zu handhaben. Aber Betrug ist es keiner, so wie hier teilweise zu lesen ist.

Unfortunately bike thieves have cut right through my litelok gold so will need to buy a higher spec one next time.

Pre order litelok x3, half year later still nothing

Pre order gedaan voor de litelok x3, zou het rond een half jaar geleden moeten ontvangen, maar tot heden nog niets binnen. Kreeg te horen dat het word verstuurd een aantal x, maar nog steeds niets tot de dag van vandaag. Misschien dat litelok de UK voorrang verleent ipv op te sturen naar t buitenland. En tot slot, mijn motorfiets is gestolen! Slechte service van litelok.

Stop using Evri if you care about your brand

Litelok uses Evri (Hermes) which completely messed up the delivery and now the parcel is nowhere to be seen. Parcel was shipped 15 days ago and is still not delivered by Evri. Edit: Upon contacting Litelok they immediately sent out another X1 via DHL which arrived in 1-2 days so great service from them. Please never use Evri again though they are the worst!

Dont Charge for orders until Dispatch

For Fairness I am amending the review as the Order time is now 30 days. Also Litelok now offer free Shipping which is also welcomed Litelok should charge on dispatch like Amazon does on out of stock items (places order but doesnt charge the card until ready to dispatch ) Why am I funding the working capital of Litelok ltd It is the best Lock available and it is manufactured designed in the UK and supports UK jobs. This leaves no excuse in my mind and I will be a loyal customer for life

Two months late on ordering the X1, X3 within 3 months as advertised

I ordered both the X1 & the X3 together. I didn't get the X1 within 14 days as advertised & they didn't respond back to me for two months. After two months I finally got the X1 then the X3 within 3 months. I recommend ordering them separately.

X1 and an X3 - great locks. Good customer service too.

I've bought both an X1 and an X3 (2 separate orders). I am a lock knowledgeable person, and am confident saying both are excellent locks. I was unlucky to develop a small infrequent fault with one (failing to unlock it), but the company were responsive, helpful, and sorted my issue quickly - replacing the item and returning the faulty one at their expense so engineers could examine and learn from the issue. New to market products may always face unexpected issues on real world use, so can't fault how they responded. Many thanks

Come on Litelok sort your business out...

After much research I thought the product would outweigh the negative customer service reviews but alas I am still awaiting the delivery of my X1. I was really surprised that Litelok, knowing they had some delays were not delaying taking payment until ready to ship out at least offering free delivery. The communication from Litelok about a tooling issue still didn't confirm an actual delivery date, nor does ' view my order' which still says delivery by 15th Sept (5 days ago). I am now also worried that there will be a quality problem due to said tooling issue! Come on Litelok, update your customers, get a track my order feature that works and offer some kind of carrot to those left hanging whilst you sort your problems! I really hope the product is worth it but right now I have an insured bike I can't really use as the required lock for my insurance is somewhere in the ether!
