The salesperson was not well informed. Originally, he gave me the wrong price for the vehicle, so I left. When I looked online the vehicle was still there for the price I had thought it would be. I went back and I worked with the same salesperson (not really), but the manger facilitated the deal. The manager was actually sitting at the desk while the salesperson waited nearby, offering very little input. Not the best experience. There was a recall on the car I purchased. Eastern's had not researched this and taken care of the recall. I started to experience trouble with the transmission shortly after the purchase. I had to go to the Honda dealer to get the recall performed. This makes me doubt what their dealership inspection includes beyond the state inspection. Not sure they deal in the best quality autos.

Zero follow up from the dealer. Not even a simple thank you call. The car I purchased has a clean carfax report but scrutiny after washing show signs that the vehicle has been repainted as well as tail light lenses that a fe e mis-alligned. Tell tale signs of a prior incident. Credit was not an issue as we used a credit union not affiliated with the dealer and came prepared to make the purchase. Shop around. I should have kept the appointment I had at Carmax before making a decision.

I purchased a GLA 250 Mercedes Benz 2015 from the Eastern in Alexandria Dealership in May 2018. I traded in my 2016 Honda Accord Coupe and i had a $5k down payment. Upon further research, I discovered that Easterns has a practice of over valuing vehicles that not even the standard luxury dealer does. Also, the carfax that was provided to me did NOT reflect damage history, which I found out was also incorrect. Furthermore, when I got the car it didn't pass MD inspection because all four of the tires needed to be replaced. I later found out that Easterns sells luxury vehicles without going through the same inspection standards as a luxury car dealer. One of the most disappointing buying experiences I have had and it cost me dearly. Even in commissioned sales environment, companies/salespeople have a fiduciary responsibility to their clients, a standard that Easterns Automative Group clearly doesn't hold themselves to. They prey on the weak, and feed on the desperate because they are wanting to either get a car or get rid of what they currently have.

The Temple Hills locations was very dishonest with me. They lied and told me I was only approved for a certain model. I spoke with the bank and found out that wasn't true. They then tried to sell me a car that had been in an accident and had acceleration issues. They took a down payment from me for the defective car, and wouldn't allow me to apply it to any other vehicle when I caught the defect, again lying saying I was only approved for one model of car. I ended up working with the bank outside of Easterns to get a car from another dealership. Girard even lied to me after my exchange and stole my copies of the contract forms after claiming he was just making copies. This location is terrible.

Francis helped me with the my first car ever! Everyone in Easterns was very helpful and friendly. My only concern is that the car was missing the cup holder and they didn’t notify me about it, but I take part of the blame because I didn’t notice till the next day. Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase process and highly recommend Easterns!
