We went to Eastern Motors on Pulaski
8/6 we have been in contact with Jay(sales person) brandon and Mike both are suppose to be managers. Mike said my dauggter would have her deposit of 3500.,Back by tuesday. Today is Friday and she is getting the run around. Mike wont answer her calls and brandon runs and hide in the back when we come in. How can we get her money back? Is there a corporate # for Eastern motors on pulaski, please advise. We went to Eastern Motors on pulaski. We worked with a young lady named jay. We were there after 9 pm filling out the paper work and completing the transaction for my daughters car. My daughter received a call today 7/29/2021 that they needed more paper work signed. My daughter arrived at the dealership and was told they needed to take the car back. But they would find her something else. When we left here last night we signed the lenders paper work and got insurance. The deal was done. They couldn't explain it and said they didn't know how to do a refund for her 3500. Brandon said they will need to call corporate. This place was a rip off. They must have given us fake paperwork that my daughter signed and now there trying to keep her deposit. I think they were trying to meet a sales quote for the month. Lets see corporate respond to this.
Great experience across the board

BIG BIG BIG waste of your time / stay away!!!!!!
BIG BIG BIG waste of your time . I did everything online sent documents and all they even ran my credit. I wanted to make sure that i wasnt gonna drive out 40 min for no reason i was assured that i only had to show proof of income and that was it. The dealership wasnt even prepared for me when i arrived and the car wasnt even the there i was told it was gonna get transported from a diffrent location lies lies lies. i did not like the sales rep at all very rude he made it seem like i couldnt afford the car i had a similar car just a different year. I really didnt apericate that at all when i walked in i didnt feel welcomed at all. They are nothing but crap. stay away big mistake.

HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE
Bought a car in Mar 2021 and in less than 30 days, the car had all kinds of issues from engine lights coming on to oil leaking etc. Traded in the car to get another faulty car with LOTs of other issues. Spoked to Lonnie, Vinny and Kevin and all they did was gave me the run around and constantly lied to me. All they do is compete against each other to try to see who can get the most customers and then pressure you to leave them a GREAT review but under all that façade, they are all full of ****. But at the end of the sales transaction, they don't give a damn about the customer's concern it's all at a number and HOW MANY CARS THEY'VE SOLD FOR THE MONTH!!!!!. This is my WORST car buying experience that I've ever encountered. Beware of the no good, sneaky unprofessional sharks because they are not out for your safety when it comes to selling you bad un-maintained vehicles. My question is: Don't Car Dealerships suppose to perform maintenance checks? Please proceed at your own risk! I have filed a compliant with BBB and they will investigate this horrible place and have filed other complaints as well. Beware...don't let the FAKE smiles and jargon that they spew out of their lying mouths fool or deceive you. I WILL FOREVER PUT THEM ON BLAST!!! BEWARE!!!!!
Thank you Dylan Coulter
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you so much to Easterns Automotive and the rest of the finance team. My credit is not that great, and it took us almost all day, but i got the truck I actually wanted. All the other dealers told me to buy a car but they got it worked out on the F150 I wanted. Thanks Dylan for all your hospitality and thanks again to Easterns finance people yall are the best.
DC Rock!!!!
Working with DC was an absolute pleasure! DC is very friendly, and goes out of his way to help you. He never made me feel pressured to make a decision. I highly recommend you talk to DC if you are considering trading your car, buying a new or previously owned vehicle.

Integrity is something they need to work on
On March 24, 2021 I went in to Easterns Frederick location and signed the vehicle contract, also leaving a $1000 deposit. On 3/26/21 I picked up my vehicle and paid an additional $2770. On or about 3/30/21, I was checking Consumer Portfolio Recovery website just to verify when my first payment would be due, as the dealership indicated this would be my finance company. The website indicated the application package was “returned to dealer”. I immediately contacted Easterns and was told not to worry as they would find me another financing company just give them some time. On the evening of April 5, 2021 a representative from Frederick’s EASTERNS location called me and told me to come in the next day “early” because they needed me to sign new paperwork as they found me a new finance company. I then went into the dealership on April 6, 2021 and went to their customer service desk and explained why I was there. Michael Middledorf was present with another gentleman at the desk. He was rude and cold. He then asked for the keys to check the mileage so he could “document on the paperwork”. 15 minutes later I was handed my house keys (as he had removed the key fob) and rudely asked “so how are you getting home?” I explained that this must be a mistake as I was told they had a lender and to come in to sign the paperwork. Mr. Middledorf rudely stated he does not know what, why or how I was told but they were taking back their vehicle. I explained I had no way to get home and had bags in my car. He then arranged for a ride home. I asked for my deposit back and the gentleman said I had to sign paperwork to get my money back because he had to fax over to the corporate office. In reviewing the paperwork I noted it said it was a voluntary surrender. I informed him that this situation we are in was not a voluntary surrender. He said he knew but it was the only paperwork needed for the refund. I signed and then contacted my lawyer, who then contacted Easterns and they told him that the vehicle was taken back because they didn’t have a loan holder as consumer portfolio denied me. EASTERNS stated they would contact Consumer Portfolio and get the contact info so that my lawyer could speak with the rep directly. My lawyer spoke with someone from Consumer portfolio and they confirmed that they denied me. Fast forward Eastern’s Automobile Group called me about a week after taking back the car indicating they had my refund and took $1183 out of it for driving and mileage. I told them that was unacceptable as their contract states I was to be informed in writing within 4 days of them learning they couldn’t finance me and I had 2 days after that to return and avoid charges. I said, however, you took the vehicle back the day after your call, although under false pretenses, you still got your car back, so I am due a full refund. I spent weeks calling Easterns, being ignored, having to call from different numbers only to be forwarded to the Sterling location, the Baltimore location and the Laurel location, none of whom were able or willing to help. Today I received a call from Bick stating that Corporate would only give me a credit of the $1183 and was I still looking for a vehicle. This is ridiculous because for one, they took back a vehicle stating they could not finance me so how would this credit be useful. Secondly, I had no vehicle for almost 2 weeks and have to work, my job requires a vehicle to get to my client’s home. So I had to secure another vehicle. Additionally, I would have had no issue returning the vehicle to EASTERNS had they immediately notified me to do so because of the financing issue. They notified me 10 days later after I had the vehicle, 5 days after they knew Consumer Portfolio Denied the application, under false pretenses to come in and sign a new contract. I obliged and came the next day 4/6/21 (even though I was told it was to sign new paperwork). Their contract clause speaks to how a failure to finance is to be handled and they are not going according to the contract or COMAR Regulation 15-311.3 which speaks to my receiving a full refund, not a credit. EASTERNS failed to notify me within the required timeframe and the way in which they took the vehicle back speaks to them being aware of this regulation. I do hope that Easterns Frederick location is not a reflection of how the other locations do business because they basically left me feeling victimized, they took my car and my money. If that’s not robbery not sure what is.
