Only seemed to want to communicate before they got their fee and then months later after the mortgage offer finally came to try and sell me insurance

YMP again got me a better deal with the same lender when mine was due to expire. I’d already used them six months earlier for a remortgage on a (non standard construction) buy to let property. Great to work with!

I disliked the amount of interaction…

I disliked the amount of interaction with multiple persons, I had to upload the same documents 3 or 4 times and had 3 companies involved, YMP, TSB, Legal team etc, Why couldn't they all have access to the same portal and it then become a central depository for all documents from enquiry to completion.

If they paid the rest of the balance…

If they paid the rest of the balance prior to asking for the brokerage fee it would have been five, but I don’t see why I’d want to pay out £1k when I’m owed £5k. Sort your selves out folks x

Great advice

Great sorting mortgage and checking products. Did not always respond to emails quickly but then chased constantly re life insurance when the fact messages not returned should have been accepted as advice not required

First phone call was pretty good...

First phone call was pretty good.... But beyond that I'm not sure what I'm actually paying the £695 for because it's me that's had to chance up the lender and also the solicitor. I emailed the guys a couple of times but they never answered.
