I had a question about the type of speaker that would be best for my desk. Instead of saying buy a particular one, I was suggested what might work, but was advised that it's bigger and heavier then regular desk speakers and suggested that I wait until proper desk speakers were released (which should be this year).

The speakers were received two days after ordering them. The 1723 Monitor THX S speakers are now through their break in period and I love the sound. So clear and open with a great sound stage. A sub is recommended and that will be added soon. These are great speakers at a great price.

Really excited buying this 1723 monitor speakers. I was just surprised by DHL charging me $176. for import duty that wasn't mentioned when I paid for this speakers.
