No refund no communication

Order placed on 29/11 paid £6 for what I believed was next day delivery. Delivery company contacted me to say apologies delivery was delayed and would not be next day, so I contacted Beauty works. They denied I had paid for next day delivery. Yet when Hermes delivered the parcel 48hrs later it had two large stickers on it saying NEXT DAY DELIVERY and Hermes confirmed I had paid for their next day delivery service that was unfortunately delayed. Eventually Beauty works refunded my delivery charge. As it arrived too late I immediately returned the products.Their return portal was not working, so I had to then send it to the address they provided me via Whatsapp customer service and pay to have it returned via Royal Mail tracked and signed for delivery. I sent it on 29/11and it was delivered and signed for on 2/12 by beauty works (I have Royal Mail picture and tracking confirmation of delivery) I have had no email to confirm they have received the parcel (although when I chased via Whatsapp customer service, they initially denied then confirmed receipt) and still no refund even though they now received the parcel 2 weeks ago. Overall very poor customer service, my order was >£100. Their delivery process and refund process do not match up to what is expected of a company of this size.

Item not received

Frustratingly my order did not arrive. This was due to the courier rather than Beautyworks themselves. Once contact had been established Lucy from the customer service team was very understanding and arranged for a refund of the item along with some goodies to be delivered for the inconvenience. ☺️ Thanks Lucy.
