I used Direction Law based off the recommendation of my Mortgage broker. I can honestly say they have caused nothing but a headache and stress. I was originally meant to complete in November and then it was December. I was told 5th January I would be completing on 12th as they had everything bar one document which they assured me they would have by Thursday, I have heard nothing from my 'case handler' since. I emailed 09/01 and got an out of office so I rang the Midlands Office and was told the case handler was actually working but in a meeting and I was promised a call back, it did not happen so I rang back and was hung up on so again I rang back and was told I would get a phone call back which I didn't but a very vague email saying they have received no document so would not be able to complete this week. I have taken annual leave from work, arranged removal vans and my family have also taken leave from work to help me move. I am absolutely appalled by this situation and the communication from Direction Law.

2nd bad review in a month! We are not getting any response off Sophie Heslop who is supposed to be pushing the expedite of our property we are selling as it was not registered when purchased in February 2021! Our current solicitors is also getting no response via email nor phone since early December and this is becoming a matter of urgency as it’s hindering our house sale! I find the staff at direction law incompetent and not able to fulfill any commitments to complete work and extremely poor in communication.. it comes to something when you have to result in writing a bad review on trustpilot to get a response! We are near completion and we need this prioritised! I will be making a formal complaint to the ombudsman and the law society as companies like Direction Law should not be in business if this is how there post- clients are treated! I feel very let down and robbed of our hard earned money we wasted on their awful conveyancing..

If I could give zero stars I would, one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with! I unfortunately had to use Direction Law when I first purchased my property, 2 years ago - I am now renewing my mortgage and required a copy of the title deed to issue to the new lender, I find out Direction Law never even made the application to the land registry until I contacted them two weeks to request a copy. You get put through to voicemail every single time, nobody responds to emails which is very unprofessional especially when it’s regarding mortgages. I would highly recommend not to use this company, legal ombudsman are aware. Update: 27/12/22 Once again the company has not stuck to any deadlines, due to the complacency of Direction Law not making an application to the land registry on time; I won’t be able to renew my mortgage on time even though I started the renewal process with more than enough time on my end. I will be taking legal action and updating the legal ombudsman.

Made my purchase entirely stress-free and completed in great time. Tanya was a gem throughout as was Lindsey on the compliance side of the process. Top work!
